How's the game so far (1st half)?

      0-0

      But................

Bolivia have just taken the lead, terrible defending from a corner from Argentina.

Was that the lad that tried to round the keeper, although the keeper did well to get a hand on the ball.

F**k man, came in late last night, missed the 6am kick-off here. :-\

So, was it a case of Argentina failing to deliver once again?

What a cracker of a goal from Aguero after coming on as sub.I thought Argentina had totally blown it but they managed a draw and were not totally convincing.

      Just caught the highlights now.

That Argentina lad on the line had a total 'mare there. Should have stopped the goal.

World class finish from Aguero though, super stuff.

Argentina choked under pressure again. Their defence is pathetic, and given one of the worst teams in South America could get one goal in 2 attacks says it all. And Mascherano is the the only player tactically applied that can cover the huge gaps in the Argentina team.

BTW, Im still convinced that unless they provide Messi with proper service, the lad will struggle.Thats the difference between being the BEST of all time and being "among the best" of all time. Untill he takes the team under his wing and win a match on himself, I can even consider him on the same level as Pele, Maradona, Di Estefano, etc.

I was surprised with the Bolivian defence, it must be hard marking Tevez,Messi and Lavezzi, and they did a fine job. Had it not been for Agueros brilliant goal, I didnt see them conceeding one.

We seriuosly need a poll on this topic

Colombia at half speed beat Costa Rica 1-0. Its seemed they just wanted to get the 3 points and risk nothing else. Boring match on the second half, but i must say I was very impressed with Colombian number 20. Great winger, with good pace, finishing, and ability. Adrian Ramos, plays for Hertha in Bundesliga. Anyone saw him play this season?

Today, Brazil is playing Venezuela and Paraguay is taking on Ecuador.

I'm not sure where exactly they were born but I know both have Brazilian citizenship. Marcelo Moreno played for Cruzeiro some years ago, then he was sold to Shakthar

Lineups confirmed for Brazil vs Venezuela:

VEN: Hernández; Rosales, Perozo, Vizcarrondo, Cichero; Rincón, Lucena; González, Arango; Miku, Rondón.

BRA: Julio Cesar, Dani Alves, Lucio, Thiago Silva, Andre Santos, Lucas Leiva, Ramires, Ganso, Robinho, Pato, Neymar

Will keep an eye on Rondon, had a very good season with Malaga, he was even linked to us if I'm not mistaken. Young striker.

Ha ha ha - just for Diego.

Craig Burley, ex-scotland international, also played for Chelsea, Celtic and Derby, amongst others, has accused Brazil of trying to be like Arsenal and walking the ball into the net.

You just couldn't make it up!!

Rondon is off, hasn't done much, except being booked for diving. To be fair, Venezuala haven't seen much of the ball.
