      Ex Reds playing in Italy?
      Jul 04, 2011 01:53:51 pm
My mate Jon works for Parcel Force. His boss there is married to a woman who works at Stoke City. I'm not sure what her role title is but when they are negotiating for players, she handles the financial side, sorting out payments etc.
As you can imagine, she's pretty much sworn to secrecy but she recently let it slip to her fella that Stoke were negotiating with an Italian club for a former Liverpool player.

      Any ideas?

They need a left back so Dossena springs to mind but going off Pulis' past signings, my money's on The Black Ninja himself, Momo Sissoko.

Oh goodie and watch him get skinned by third rate wingers!!

He was better further up the pitch rather than at left-back.

we have struggled more at left back since he left..  it was off the cuff, i know he had his faults

I couldn't stand him at left-back, in fact one of his best games for us was at Goodison, when he had Vignal behind him, the pair of them were excellent that day.

Looks like my guess may have been a good one. Reports in our local rag that Pulis wants Momo Sissoko at circa £8m.

Momo Sissoko is class, beast of a defensive midfield player... but he couldn't pass  :O

I actually rate Momo > Masch defensive wise, but overall, Masch > Momo

I think you can pair Momo with a good ball moving CM like we had in Alonso he can be a real asset to a team. The guy can cover a lot of ground, strong, good in the air and never stops. If he tries to make a pass longer than 5 yards then you have problems :D

Wasn't one of his reasons for leaving Greece the racism there? Lazio is probably one of the worst clubs he could join then.
