        Not a bad signing for a backup goalie , I think its the right policy to have experienced backups in any position

      I saw him many times playing, he is much better as a back-up than what we already have. He isn't that bad either. We needed a good back-up that can count on him when needed (hope never but 'cos that means Reina got injured)!

      Being a big Totti and Mexes fan i used to watch lots of Roma games (Roma being my Italian team) and i can say Doni is a very talented keeper however he is prone to lapses in concentrations. He used to exasperate me because he would make brilliant saves and then would let in a long hoop. He is i believe a very eccentric goalkeeper but i never thought he would be willing to play as backup because last season he was very unhappy with being no 2. Anyway i believe he will show his qualities in the Carling cups and the FA cup and i would like to say he is a different class from Jones.

      Errr why not? A solid goalkeeper with experience at the highest level. Won the Copa America as first choice keeper with Brazil in 2007, and such achievements at Roma. He'll be the most solid second goalkeeper we've had since Dudek left the club. It's been horrible enduring f**king Itandje and Cavalieri at this club. Brad Jones wasn't a great second keeper but he was a darn sight better than that sh*t...especially Charles Itandje. Complete joke.
