Dumb question but this is my first time signing up...where do I specify a league number? I signed up and picked a team but I didn't see where to specify the league??

Right hand side of the screen there is a part that says select a league.

Click on that then select private league. You will need to copy and paste the number in the opening post.

 I did notice a slight glitch..I accidentally selected too many LFC players as they still have Downing listed for AVFC. Doesn't look like I can make any changes now that I've submitted my team.

I was going to cheekily select him too although it will no doubt cause you grief when the teams get updated

No it says in the rules that if you select them when they're listed for another club, you can get away with it but have to correct the balance (ie- no more than 3 from 1 team) when the next window arrives. So it's a tactic you can use, a gamble.

That's what I get for not paying attention. 

Don't worry about it, it's a good thing. Just means you'll effectively have 4 Liverpool players until the next window I think.
Either way, if you click on 'Transfers', I'm pretty sure you can still tinker with your team now because the season hasn't started.

I may nip off and juggle my squad at that challenge.

On second thoughts I can't be arsed, lazy boy.

I've done this for the last two years and I always end up just forgetting about it and forgetting about transfers and subs etc. I came 2 millionth and something last year.

I've also changed my squad name to Hodgsons Hedonists.

I may change it again before August 13th.
