The HTC One X looks beautiful but I have a Galaxy Note arriving soon. I will post some impressions if anyone is keen. I'm personally keen to hear what the One X is like as I was close to picking that one up. I really should have as I've had problems with Samsung LCD TV's and of course they are on the belly of the chavs so it would be nice to not buy something to do with them. Still, looks like a mean phone and considering Samsung is now a super heavyweight in mobile phones I hope they know how to make a durable handset!

Though I have just ordered my new phone, plumped for the Samsung Galaxy Note.  Get it Tuesday, it's rather large.

      Got a Samsung Galaxy Ace.
Was tempted by the note, but it's more like a tablet.
Ace is the size/shape of the iphone4.

Jeez that Samsung Galaxy Note is huge. I would find it difficult to carry something that big. My SGS2 is big enough as it is.

The HTC One looks beautiful, I think it is the best Android phone available until the SGS3 is released.

Agreed, I have the S2 and wouldn't want it to be any bigger at all. Good job it's so thin and light so I don't really notice it in my pocket.

Was going to get the S2, but 02 still want 200 euro for it.
Obscene amount for a phone that's about to be replaced.

The S2 is amazingly thin, and light. Screen is brilliant for the size though, any bigger and it would have been to large. I love the S2. Only thing I dislike is the plastic on the back, but that is very minor.

Best phone that has ever been produced and sold wordwide IMO. Amazing in every way.

When the S3 comes out, you'll see prices for the S2 drop significantly. Then would be your best chance to get one mate.

      Got this instead.
      Happy with it.
Taking awhile to get used to the touch screen typing and I could probably do with the text version of the site for ease of browsing.

Yeah I know what you mean, that does make it feel a bit 'cheap' compared to an iPhone but only the other day, a friend with a 4S grabbed my phone to view a picture and was amazed at how light it is, considering she was already impressed by it's power and features.

How do you even load up the text version of the site?

When I log on the site on my SGS2 it loads straight onto the main page as it would on my computer. I must admit that my phone works very nicely because you can double tap to zoom and everything changes shape and fits nicely onto the soon.

       :D

Also if you drop an 4S the glass just shatters and brakes. The S2 has much more protection.

The S2 is a much better phone than the 4S. Once you've learnt how to get the power out of the S2, it is an incredibly phone. The 4S has basic software which is designed to be easy but limited. Android has much more depth to it.

      That is my opinion anyway.

unbelievable phone isn't it?! I have held my friends iphone 4 and galaxy SII's after only owning the note for under a week and I could not believe now small and toy-like they were, tiny screens! to me the note is not even big anymore it's perfectly pocket friendly (and I wear skinny jeans..) yet the screen is so glorious and HD videos look sublime. been researching about android and task killers and the like (specifically how you shouldn't use them) and the more I find the more I like. the app store is fantastic too and i've been impressed with the battery as well. the stylus is really nice to use too. very happy with the note. thank christ i never have to install itunes onto my computer again.

Not had the chance to play with it much yet, like most the features I've used, not so happy with the way the media player works compared to the way it did on my Desire.  Long weekend to see if I can do something about it.

Just wondering, do people prefer lighter or heavier phones?

In the past year I have owned the iPhone 4, SII and Nokia Lumia 800... I always see people mention a phone being really light as a pro.... I HATE IT! xD

I like my phone to have that bit of weight to it, the iPhone 4 and Lumia 800 are perfect I think in weight, whereas the SII, I hated how light it was, that adding to the cheap feel of the phone, I always thought I would break it... so yeh, thats one thing now I always look at for a phone, if its too light, pass, it'll just bother me if I buy it ;D.
