I don't think they'll make top 4....in fact I wouldn't be massivly surprised if Spurs finish above them.

I think that they will recover and probably are ok for 3rd. They have played 3 of their toughest matches, us, spurs and city already. They were also unlucky in a few games with the red cards and have had a few important players out with injuries and suspensions.

When is Odegard back? They are very reliant on their starting 11 with limited squad depth, as others have pointed out. But they are a very good team if everyone is fit.

They play Chelsea next if they don't stop feeling sorry for themselves that game isn't going to go well.

I'd honestly favour Chelsea right now... think Arsenal are all bark to be honest and can see a few heads dropping now they've been found out to be pretenders..

Hey Keith you aren't taking bets that Arsenal finish above us in the Champions League Table?

I believe this Arsenal team has peaked already. They won't challenge for trophies with City or in the CL without better strikers than Havertz and Jesus. Yes, they are a very good team, but with Klopp's era, we've seen that to win, you need to be almost perfect, with in-form and world class players at almost every position. While their back 4 is as solid as it can be, they have injury issues there and elsewhere. And they really miss a striker that can score 25-30 goals a season. Martinelli, Trossard and Oodergard, as good as they are, cannot score as much as Mane or Salah used to score as wingers/forwards.

When we look back at this Arsenal side the one thing it'll have shown is is how good we've actually been over the last decade going toe to toe with City for the most part and actually winning things along the way

You seeing the light!  We had one bad season and then changed the entire midfield in the other season.  And this monster Arsenal was born.  Your beloved Arsenal lose 1 Midfielder be it a important one and they are on their knees!

They’ve not peaked as individuals. The manager becoming more defensive is costing them along with the lack of an out and out goal scorer.

I think if you lost VVD you’d be in a similar position.

Agree. Let me try to elaborate on my point.

I've said this for 2 years : Arsenal have had the incredible chance of having such young players blossoming at the same time: Martinelli, Saka and Oodegaard (& ESR too at some point) are still very young and were even more so two years ago and they really challenged City, this is really exceptional. I had never seen this.

From this very good base, they need to improve, as a team. Yes, individually, they can all improve, but again, how much can they improve more as a team and what about the "strikers"? Now for them it's about finding the small improvements that this side need to improve. They consolidated the defence, but it was not their weakness. Their midfield is good with Rice and Oodergaard very reliable players.

It reminds me of our team after winning the title. What did we do? We did not buy players during the transfer window and collapsed, while most of the team was there. So, for me, we peaked when we won the league and then dropped because we did not find ways to improve an already great team.

Stop batting for them. They are a very good side, but this monster of a team which they and the media try to portray is what really pisses me off.

Anyways VVD's boot laces, I mean Odegard is back.
