Brendan would be silly to go there.  The squad is poor very poor.  They need a lot of money spent to improve that squad.  They will probably need an experience manager.

If Rodgers is offered the oppurtunity he would be mad to turn it down, one of the big clubs in the EPL a fan base who would take to his attacking philosophy.
A challenge at least for him.

And of course a guaranteed 6 points for the Red Men  :D

To be honest BR was out of his depth with us, as shown by the disastrous results and long standing records that were being broken (bad ones). Would be no different at a club like Arsenal, they may be pretty sh*t at the moment but they are still too big for him. He’s perfect for the likes of Swansea and Celtic, clubs that are at his level where he is suited.

Think Conte will wind up there and he’s exactly what they need.

Hopefully they go for Eddie Howe or Thierry Henry or someone equally unqualified for the job.

A closer look at the squad, they simply don;t have the backbone of the team. it will be a long overhaul. it will probably take them 3 seasons to get back among the top 5.

Bad news. They could be come significant again if the right manager comes in.

At the start of the season, I ever considered them a threat.

Some of us have never known a time when Wenger wasn't the manager of Arsenal.

Nonetheless I hope he gets the send off he deserves. I still believe he raised football in the Premier League to a level that helped English clubs become conquerors of Europe not least Man Utd who would never have risen to the levels required to win the treble in 1999 if it wasn't for Wenger relaying the foundations of English top flight football when Arsenal won the league in 1998. Indeed our own decision to appoint Houllier was in large part influenced by the massive changes seen at Arsenal, Gerard being similar to Arsene in that he hauled this club up to a higher standard than his immediate predecessors.

We've had some great encounters with Arsenal over the years and it has always been the most entertaining of fixtures in that time (my personal favourite being Neil Mellor's last gasp stunner). Let's hope that doesn't change when he leaves.

      He'll be missed.

Played football the right way and a role model for many of the progressive managers now lighting up the EPL like Guardiola and Klopp.

Will be remembered as a great.

I wonder if Rafa would consider Arsenal.

Was a great manager and a revolutionary in his own way.

Well past his use by date though... all good things come to an end.

Definitely a step up for Rafa that would be, no disrespect to Newcastle  but our man is on a tightrope there with having to beg for finance.
Would be an interesting appointment but realistically don't see it happening.

No doubt one of the all time great managers but probably should have walked away a few years ago. If England have another shocker in the summer it wouldn't surprise me if Wenger's their new manager come August.

They have a bit of a messy squad at the moment do Arsenal but being a wealthy club in London means they won't have much difficulty tempting a good manager over there.
