I voted 2, but I am hoping for a similar goalfest to the Malaysian game :)

You reckon the spaniard may just be at the ground to commentate?as they both are his previous clubs.

Valencia will give us a stern test and i guess kenny will start with a strong 11.

I would love it if they had Rafa in to commentate!  He helped the club to some great times, and he should be remembered for those!

I think we will see our strongest lineup barring the inclusion of Suarez, Gerrard, and Skrtel.

                   Pepe
      Kelly  Carra  Agger  Johno
                   Lucas
            Hendo    Adam
        Kuyt     Carrol    Downing

      *  It will be very interesting to see what part (if any) Aquilani plays in this game.  This would, in theory, be a good opportunity to put him on display with the other members of the 1st team, and showcase his skills against top competition to help secure a good transfer fee for him.  At the same time, I could see Kenny wanting to use this game as a true competitive warm up for the team that will be with us for the entire season.  If Kenny decides to start Aqua, or give him plenty of minutes, it will certainly bring up the question of whether Kenny has him in his plans, or if he is just putting him on display for potential suitors.  ???

Edit:  Almost forgot..... 3-1 to the mighty Reds!!!  YNWA

This will be a good test for the lads, and hopefully were getting closer to the team The King will be playing more of this coming season (certain players excluded, obviously :P), but still be a good one and certainly the last "practice" before the real deal, so lets hope we can do us all (mostly the "doomsayers") a favour and play as we should at home, and kick start what should turn out to be to be a great season for us all!!!!

"us all" meaning who wear red......or blue if you really have too :P

I'll take an optomistic stance on this.................5-0 first half scoreline.... :D

I say we give Mata one more chance to sign for us, and if he refuses we should start Sotis with the instructions "to express himself" around their number 10.

I think we may concede one goal,i'd also play Aquilani as he has the flair and skill to threaten a spanish team , i'm hoping we are going to play our first team at some point

Should be a good match this. I expect a strong team (not just because I'm going!) but Valenica is going to be a good test for us and we need to field our strongest possible XI.

Right no more mucking about Kenny, play the side (minus Suarez) that is likely to start against Sunderland next week. Give them all a minimum of 60 mins, forget the fringe players (they've spent enough time in the shop window) and don't worry about blooding anymore young-ins. I just wanna see a clean sheet and evidence that these guys still know how to defend. Hoping to see us press the ball and dominate posession plus play with a good tempo. Am hoping we go with:

Reina, back four of Johnson, Carra, Agger, Robinson, midfield of Lucas, Adam, Henderson with Dirk and Downing out wide and Carroll up top.

4.30pm: LFC TV live at Anfield

There will be a little bit of history made in L4 this afternoon as we broadcast our entire match coverage live from Anfield for the very first time – and there will be plenty more of that when the 2011-12 season gets underway.

The Reds take on Valencia in their final pre-season friendly and both our 'Countdown to Kick Off' and 'This is Anfield' shows will  be broadcast live from the new LFC TV box in the Centenary Stand.

David Fairclough and Roy Evans will be our guests for this landmark show - which starts at 4.30pm and can be viewed on LFC TV and LFC TV Online - and you can get involved by tweeting your thoughts @lfc, emailing lfctv@liverpoolfc.tv or texting 60240 (start your message with the word KOP).

You will also be able to take part in live voting when the show gets underway.

The show starts on LFC TV and LFC TV Online at 4.30pm but the match itself is available to watch online only. Kick-off is 5.30pm.

LFC TV viewers should tune in again straight after the final whistle when we'll be reflecting on the game with our special guests as well as hearing your views.

The club's official TV station and website will be broadcasting live shows from Anfield during every home match this season, bringing you unprecedented coverage of the team you love as the Kenny Dalglish revival continues apace.

LFC TV is FREE to air on Sky channel 434, Virgin channel 544 (as part of the XL pack) and also available online.

I think we will win this one comfortably. All the pieces will fall nicely into place and we will start to show the form we will be taking into the new season. Strongest available team, good strong performance, and a good finish to our pre-season 2-0, possibly more if we keep our best players on for more than 60 mins.

      No prisoners...... THIS is Anfield.
