      On loan at Milan, no?

How much did we pay Enrique to just sit on his arse playing on his PS4?

Was our third longest serving player after Skrtel and Lucas. Wish him well, but feel he should have left a while ago rather than staying just for the money.
my sentiments exactly mate,I did lose some respect for Jose after that fiasco,
It was obvious to most reds that he was happy to hang the latch just for the coin, but like most of us I certainly wish him well.

Said how much he suffered with injury for the last couple of years playing - how he couldn't train for 3 days after a game.  Not ideal.  Wasn't our most talented left back but oh, how we could do with a goalie like him now... 😉

Shame he has had to retire so young
At times he was pretty good for us BUT mostly a bit of a headless chicken.
Extremely likeable and I don't recall him ever causing a fuss.

yeah I'm a bit confused about everyone waxing lyrical about a player who on multiple occasions refused transfers just so that he could see out his very generous contract with the club.

      Liverpool FC statement: Jose Enrique

The thoughts of everyone at Liverpool Football Club are with Jose Enrique after the player revealed he has undergone surgery on a brain tumour.

The former Reds defender made the announcement via his personal social media accounts on Saturday morning, confirming he had undergone a procedure to have a tumour removed.

Enrique added that he is now in recovery following the operation.

Everyone at Liverpool FC wishes him a full and speedy recovery and we look forward to seeing him back at Anfield again soon.
