Any one know what to tell the board to get them to agree to a link with a team from belgium?  They told me they don't think its worth the time.

Why Belgium? Worst country for WP regulations!

Spain, bulgaria, belguim.  Are 3 years arent they?  I heard croatia is 2 when they join the eu in the game, but dont know when that is.

I've just moved to Southampton. I doubt I'll do anywhere near as well as you (I'm a bit of an amateur) but I look forward to having SOME transfer budget, not like at Modena and Torquay where the previous managers had spent it all!
Danny Fox , Jack Cork, Adam Lallana, Jose Fonte are all decent. And of course R. Lambert.

Ok, thanks. I haven't even looked at the squad yet but I'll check them out next week when I get back on it.

It depends. Spain is 2 years for South American players. Belgium on mine required 3 consecutive years rather than accumulative! Was useless! Though players who play first team football for a year generally get a wp on return anyway to be fair.

      Started a new Liverpool one,
Signed Mirallas, Muniain, Dempsey & Allen,

Anyone else found that when you're trying to assign coaches to their training, you can't see anything underneath 'ball control'?

Muniain is a machine, 33 and 46 goals in the last 2 seasons for me!

Muniain on my Liverpool save is easily my best player. I absolutely love him. I use him as an inside forward coming in from the left side of midfield and he is a machine. Shame he gets crunched in every tackle and is out for 4 months of every season at the least.

Started a Wigan one. I've always tried one and never kept on with it when things don't go well. Easily the toughest save i play in trying to keep them up. They're so bad.

21 goals 21 games torres. This lads a beast.

He's better be good. I had a transfer budget of £5m and it took £3.8m to get him to Southampton in the Championship!!

There were a lot of questions in the press conference about him fitting in, being the only Mexican and not being able to speak English. Has this caused problems for anyone and if so, what should I do? Try to pick up another cheap Mexican / Spanish player or bring in a Spanish speaking coach, for example or doesn't it really matter?
I'm still in pre-season and he won't be available until something like August 20th due to international commitments.

Just the game trying to be as realistic as possible. Unless they come to you and say something about having trouble settling in then don't worry about it.

He never has had a problem in my game and been very easy to manage because he always listens to you and never has a strop about your team talks etc.

I'm into the second round of the KO stages in CL with Brighton.

But we're struggling in the league. 6th place, 3 points off 4th.

      F**k.

Get in. Guaranteed survival with 3 games to go and i'm in 13th with Wigan.

Getting Bertolo from Palermo for 500k and Cavenaghi for free to bolster my attack. Hopefully get a strong CM and some defensive reinforcements to finish it off.

Have to complete the signing of Formica. This guy has transformed my attack. Excellent loan signing and only 2m to complete.

OMG seriously? Aston Villa have come in last minute and signed Joe Allen and Neil Taylor. Wolves last minute sign Ashley Williams. Everton sign Mauricio Isla last minute.

That would be one F***ing good team right there.

8 pre season games and still had most of my squad lacking match fitness (severely, actually) so that's annoying.

      My transfer business:

Could of had Allen/Isla in for Fernando, Williams for Neuton, Taylor for Robinson (or could of sold Figueroa and still got Robinson).

Still, some good business IMO. Enough to build the squad and keep wages/finances in control.

Thinking about re-signing at Brighton to take over at Cottbus, who is struggling in the Bundesliga, one place out of relegation.

Might be more fun, I always get bored in England.

      F**k this team.

Been ahead in 5 matches and lost all of them. Up 2-0 twice and gave those leads up before half time. Up 1-0 at Anfield and lose.

      Neuton is F***ing crap!

Resigned and went to Crawley who got relegated to L2. Got Craig Eastmond and Darren Pratley on frees amongst others like Nick Blackman and Eliott Lee.

How about Everton, though. Got taken over and bought Hulk, De Jong, Busquets, Andre Ayew, Mauricio Isla, Vaclav Kadlec, Axel Witsel.
