A horrible end to a truly terrible week.

Well, there is a bright side.     Bayern is stuck on 4 wins and don't catch up to us. And Real, Barca, Milan didn't catch or go further ahead of us either.

It could be worse, we could be 'arry.

Chelsea win the Champions League and Man City win the Premier League.

The season football finally died and money bought success.

Clearly didn't want Chelsea to win AT ALL tonight but fair play to Chelsea and Roberto Di Matteo. Really pleased for Di Matteo. He was a legend at that club and if ever there was one man to lead Chelsea to their first European Cup it was right that it was someone like Di Matteo. Ashley Cole and Gary Cahill as I stated earlier were superb and in all honesty Bayern may have had most of the play but they lacked so much conviction. That I guess is why they finished a distant second in the league and poor in the German Cup. I thought Robben was abysmal, more so for not making up a shocking performance by chickening out of the penalties at the end. Bizarre seeing two English players score two penalties against a German goalkeeper and a German missing that vital penalty. Nonetheless, well done Chelsea.

As much as I hate to say it Cas, that had 2005 written all over it, everything went their way. All the omens, all the play, everything.

The only differences? We played like stars to a man, we had fans who had banners and sung from start to finish & we had class.
