Indeed it was .. because to happen once against Barca is something else .. to happen another time in the final .. is just amazing. Messi usually scores 9 out of 10 times when he's one v one or takes a penalty.
And it wasn't like Chelsea actually threatened either Barca or Bayern!!!
I mean, I don't doubt they did very well defensively but being good at the back does not mean they have to score from their one or two shots on goal whereas Barca in the semi finals, and Bayern in the final, a bit like us majority of the season, just can't seem to score.
Barca managed almost 50 shots to Chelsea's 10 in both legs together and Bayern managed 44 to Chelsea's 9. Let's not forget Drogba probably took 5 long range attempts,
. I understand that Bayern and Barca could have just been shooting from distance but still, they were trying harder, at least.
I think the stars, the luck, the moon and everything single lucky charm on their side.
