Wish the lad the best, shocking that he was still at the club.  At least he's off the wage bill, £30,000 to put elsewhere.

So you work at Anfield admin department now too?  Do you commute to White Hart Lane? How do you juggle the commitments?

None of us know how much he's on, but that is a figure I've heard.

According to a poster on another board (very reliable, from my experience) who has actually seen our financial reports, he was on a basic salary of £20,000 per week, plus performance related bonuses ...

      Fine, £20,000.

I'm glad he's off the wage bill, that is £20,000 we can put to better use...

Ridiculous amount. At least he's Levante's problem now.

Shame, when I first watched him play he looked brilliant. But he never lived up to any expectations.

Not good enough for us, but he'll fit in in a decent side somewhere. Good luck mate.

Agree with that, that's an awful lot of money for a small amount of unimpressive first team performances.

At least Levante will be forking that out now.  Shame it didn't work out for him here, but wish him good luck for the future.

Personally think he is a talent that has gone to waste, he could of been something special in my eyes, somethings gone wrong down the line, either in his development or his lack of effort.

Didn't he have the briefest of reputations as being Rafa's "lucky charm" years ago?

Think there was a spell of games in which he participated where we did quite well, ran out quickly, though.

All the best, clearly the right move for player and club.

I hope we released him without compensation. If not then we could of just let him go for a free transfer to Levante.

Think they would have said if it included compensation.

No harm to the fella but he was never good enough. Good luck to him.

Doubt we did, I reckon he will have asked to be paid off if we wanted him to leave, as no doubt he will not be earning as much at Levante as he was with us.
