I'd have 3 man centre-mid (Hendo   Lucas  Adam) with Enrique bombing forward with Lucas and Agger covering his ass, and Downing attacking their LB with Kuyt and Carroll up front.

I won't piss off Res. We have zero pace up front and in midfield, so you think it is right to to rest Suarez when as Burdog said we have had 1 game in a week.

 I expect a lot of the long ball tactic. If your playing 4-4-2 you need pace through the team.

Suarez has been playing pretty much non-stop for over a year now. I think he deserves a rest.

Henderson is pretty fast, Downing is fast, Carroll is fast-ish.

Good thing it looks like we're lining up 4-3-3, and not 4-4-2 then, doesn't it?

Pretty confident we can win this, only real disappointment is Suarez on the bench, but I expect to see him at some stage. Still believe it will be a close game,1-0 with Carroll getting the goal.  Think Henderson is a little lucky to keep his place in all honesty, but hopefully he will repay Kenny's faith with a good performance.

Res i wont piss off for giving an opinion, agree if it is 4-4-2 we will have big problems. We have no pace in the team with the exception of Enrique that will also be a problem.

Kuyt won't mess around, we can always rely on him up front and we still have the tight flanks too which is a bonus!

Despite their suspensions , injuries and being fabreless this is no easy game...we need to keep an eye on that pesky russian,JLS singer Wallcott and carra needs to have Van Persie in his pocket through the whole game...Adam needs to watch his tackling in and around our box and not give away any silly dead ball situations..
still think we have the strength to match em all over the park and sneak a winner...

I think that's a good team and a good subs bench, one of our problems last season was having no-one on the bench that could come on and change the game and get a goal....this season thats changed and it's great to see.

I'm feeling very positive about today's game and can see Luis coming off the bench and running rings round a very tired Arsenal defence.

Well, Kenny doesn't seem to have been lying when he said Henderson would be an important part of his plans this season.

Hope his faith in the lad pays off, he's hardly picking players at random, there's clearly something he gives the team that Kenny is after.

I would have picked 4-2-3-1 and Suarez starts for me always and defo in big matches like this.

I don't think we will win if we think a 33 year old defender lacking pace can deal with Persie and Wallcott. Suarez should be starting. I'm pretty pissed at this line up.

Actually, it is times like this that fans can turn against their own managers. If we do our best and lose then we lost, if we leave Luis on the bench and lose it is pretty stupid.

Me too TK - Lucas (the Mascherano-esque 'cruncher') alongside Adam (the Alonso-esque 'spreader') with Henderson, just in front (the Gerrard-esque 'buzzer) - just what every team needs.  

Three in the middle with Spearing, Suarez, Meireles and or Maxi to come on... what more could a fella ask for? Bring it on!  

Arshavin is hardly pacey.
