I saw the tweet earlier too...he must have been told to take it down pending the official announcement.

Nacional will get 8 million dollars to be payed in many installments. Add the players cut, and taxes and you get the final figure(not a clue to those 2)
Also 2 matches will be played between them and Liverpool in dates to be arranged
Plus, there has been an agreement where Liverpool will partly fund nacionals youth projects, and in return gets "first choice" or something like that.

Interesting add-on's for a transfer especially about the youth team and "pick of the litter"....very shrewd considering that the country has now provided us 2 players.

Coates joins Liverpool

Liverpool have confirmed the signing of Uruguay international Sebastian Coates on a long-term contract.

The 20-year-old completed his transfer from Nacional after passing a medical and securing a work permit earlier today.

Coates will now link up with his international teammates ahead of their friendly in Kiev on Friday night.
