Who cares about the League Cup?

Who wouldn't care about this cup? Honestly every year supporters of the teams who don't make the final say its the mickey mouse cup or no one wants to win it, but that is not true because every team apart from Arsenal maybe play a strong team they feel can win them the competition and this year we have earned our place in the final by beating the best 11 of each team.

Regardless of reputation a trophy is a trophy, i personally feel if we were to win this tomorrow, fingers crossed our confidence would go through the roof, only helping our run in the F.A cup, i genuinely believe we can do the double this year and still qualify for champions league football, lets do this redmen! YNWA.

I care about every single competition Liverpool enter. The only people who call the League Cup and Europa Cup Mickey Mouse cups are those who aren't involved in them at the business stages. Europe has been our focus in the last decade or so and has provided us with memories others will never replicate but this season without Europe has been refreshing having a right go at both domestic cups and one in the bag so far. I was almost in tears seeing Gerrard lft the cup today (well yesterday now) and the joy on ple players faces. That doesn't happen with something you don't care about. Today was close and Cardiff played really well and you had to feel a bit sorry on Anthony Gerrard but Stevie G lifting that cup in front of 90,000 and millions world wide is what it's all about. In a way we should be doing this more often and 6 years is a bit long for LFC without a trophy but think the fact has been overplayed eg the commentator today was saying a whole generation haven't seen Liverpool win a cup!? Get a grip, a generation isn't 6 years. So happy for Kuyt and Skirtel getting the goals today and Downing and Johnson's penalties were top drawer. Great for Kenny and Suarez to get some sucess too after weeks of sh!t which will still be going on from our haters. There is no greater sight in the world than Stevie G lifting silver.

Hating any cup is a media invention really... I don't think any fans don't care about winning any trophy.. If we entered a 5 a side league I'd want us to win it.

You don't enjoy days like yesterday if you don't care, we support the club, whatever the club is involved in.

I'll want to win the league cup next year as well, and the Europa league ( if we end up not back in the CL).

Hell, can we enter the Johnston's paint? I'd want us to win that too.
