      about LFCTV
      Aug 28, 2011 03:41:45 pm
Just a quick question about our football channel, unfortunately I am someone that works  in the evening so can't watch the game on sky/internet. What I used to do last year, is watch the whole game at midnight on LFCTV ( not all of the games were shown but most were). So far this year this hasn't been possible. Can anyone tell me why they dont show the match, and if theres any condition to them showing the game?. The only difference I can tell is last year we played a lot of games midweek, maybe this has something to do with it!

Is there any site I can go to watch the game? ( I would like to see the whole game if not at least 45mins )

      many thanks

Didn't realise they weren't showing the games at midnight.

May have something to do with Goals on Sunday on Sky.  There may be different rules because regarding Saturday games.

Only thing tha pisses me off is when I check the listings for LFCTV and there's something called "The Match" at midnight which I assumed was the latest match, but it isn't. I went to watch it but it wasn't, its where the television programme goes offline for the night.

Very misleading title and should be changed IMO. Mislead me yesterday.

Shout out for 'The Press Box' on LFCTV every Tues 7pm always enjoy watching it.
They get a good mix of Liverpool based journos on each week (Pearce,Bascombe,Joyce,King etc) and have a chat about Liverpool for an hour - beats Eastenders

We get it here on a Cable Channel as a replacement for the cu*ts losing the Premier League rights to their rivals. I love watching it  but what shits me is that the Cable Channel also got ManU tv and Chavs tv and those c**t channels get their matches broadcasted on a delay of about 6-7 hours whereas LFCTV don't put a replay on till 24-48 hours later.

What the F**k is that about?

      10:45 tonight - Dunking Biscuits

James Milner & Andy Robertson debate what makes the perfect dunking biscuit, custard creams, rich tea or a piece of scottish shortbread.

:lmao: About time the club's channel started really addressing the important issues.

There was much talk about the BBC coverage of the World Club Final. They can say they had other programmes to show, which I'm sure they do, but they constantly complain that they can't win the rights to major sports events. So when they have a chance, they should plug it properly and do it justice. They'll be showing random European Championship games next summer with half hour build ups featuring teams of no direct interest to their main audience. Why can't they do it for the World Club Championship with us involved?

Unfortunately the coverage on our own channel of us becoming World Champions was even worse. As soon as the game ended, the audio coverage was cut earlier than usual. No coverage of the ceremony, visual or audio. No coverage of the celebrations, just half an interview with one player dropped in at the end of the show, and while the players were celebrating, the pundits in the studio were busy rabbiting on about rival clubs managerial issues, while the presenter was talking about some ex-England has been with no association to this club, who picked that very day to kick the bucket. When the game was eventually broadcast 24 hours later, there was no coverage of the celebrations, and less than 20 seconds of the ceremony itself. Basically Hendo receiving the trophy and that was it. And when the team returned home, there was no coverage of that either.

Becoming World Champions doesn't happen every year, or indeed every week. This was a historic achievement for the team and the club, setting the bar higher once more. Whatever about the BBC, I expect our own in house channel to cover a Liverpool club achievement properly. What exactly is more important to the station than Liverpool winning more trophies?

Just emailed them, last week the match videos are coming up with "not authorized to view this in your Country" like wtf? up till last week was all good. Can watch interviews and all other stuff but no highlights or full matches!!

Also on my ipad, it stays on the Sheffield United game we played in September. Click on News or anything and it's all on that date as well. Doing my head in. cu*ts!

Am getting this too for Club World Cup - even the "Inside" j-j video feature. I thought maybe it was just for that event, something with rights. The video from Christmas Eve training is playing properly for me.

Again, I think it's just for the Club World Cup - has to do with broadcast rights, in our case since we are not in UK.

The rest of the full match vids work for me.

He was saying someone is unable to deal with opposing viewpoints, or easily offended?

Or was it meant as a political slur, like "commie" or something?

What he means is someone who is weak, hence something like a ‘snowflake’ he means no harm, or someone might have the breaking strain of a Mars bar, Hershey bar if your a Yank, that’s all it means, he’s not being derogatory, politically or otherwise, if you do think like that then perhaps growing some thicker skin might be in order, or you could be perceived as being a bit of a “Snowflake”

It’s EXACTLY a year to the day when Messi and his wee mates came to Anfield and got Arse fu**ed in front of a world wide audience, 3 nil up from the first leg, they swaggered into Anfield in the belief that the game was a mere formality..but....they massively underestimated our fans, the atmosphere and thought that without Salah & Bobby we had little to no chance... and what a kick up the Caracas they got...

....who will ever forget what was to follow, from the opening minutes when Robbo gave Messi that head shove I knew we were up for it, Divock slotting home for the first,  Gini latching onto that cross from Trent, the perfect cross from the Shaq & Gini rising like a salmon to equalise, what a f***in header.....and then....that moment of absolute genius from Trent & Divock.....for all my years watching football I can honestly say that stands out above everything...including Istanbul...as outstanding as that was...

I watched it at home on BT, i had to see it again because I couldn’t quite believe what I just seen, it was just unbelievable, and yes there were tears, the effort our lads put in was simply outstanding, you just couldn’t ask for any more from them, Hendo & Gini’s reaction at the final whistle was telling....just sheer Elation....

No prizes for guessing what I’ll be watching tonight...even if it’s via YouTube.

I think Istanbul will always be my favourite because I still can't wrap my head around it 15 years on. I was quietly confident about that Barcelona game but I knew every single player had to be 10/10 for us to have a chance of getting something & luckily they all were, we also had Anfield behind us which was a huge factor

Barcelona was probably the best "performance" I've seen from a Liverpool side as we were straight out of the traps and didn't give them an inch from the first whistle to the last, but in terms of sheer madness & a game being a rollercoaster of emotions, it's got to be Istanbul for me

      Yeah, same here.

Strange though, at half time I wasn't worried.
Turned to my lads and said "It's not over yet, there's more to come from us" or words to that effect.
I just felt our name was on the trophy, and I was certain we'd come back.

      Amazing game.

I've seen a few media list things about the best CL comebacks.
Surely we own the top two spots now.

Funny you say that because my da said similar to me at HT, remember him just saying all we need is one goal. As most 11 year olds do I took my arl fella's world as gospel so at the time I wasn't really as worried as I should have been, but looking back it was insane what happened

Know what your saying bud, on reflection your probably right, maybe the years between have somehow diminished those feelings from '05' it was a  miraculous effort  considering the two teams, Milan full of world class players from Dida to Crespo, Kaka, Seedorf, Shevchenko et al , in between,
We had Gerrard, Alonso, Hyypia Carra amongst our best , with respect to everyone else,  so I guess it probably just trumps the Barca rout.

Can't come off the fence yet tho !

Funny you say that because my da said similar to me at HT, remember him just saying all we need is one goal. As most 11 year olds do I took my arl fella's world as gospel so at the time I wasn't really as worried as I should have been, but looking back it was insane what happened

      It was F***ing mental mate.

My lads were gobsmacked going "How did you know?" and of course I didn't, I just didn't feel worried for some reason.

The Mrs telling the boys I'd made a deal with the devil was funny though.
The youngest nearly legged it  :lmao: (other two are way older)

15 F***ing years eh, and the memory is still crystal clear.
