This bloke REALLY likes him!
FAREWELL!The time has come to say "until next time". To leave #19 so other teammate can be proud to wear it as it was mine 2 years ago. The time to salute and thank has come. And also, to ask humbly. To the youth division players, that they remember everyday where they are and be deserving of the place they occupy: with discipline, work and effort. It is not enough with footballing virtues. To the institution I want to ask for them to always support the youth teams, that they are the soul of the club. To this, my home, I will never cease to thank, because I've not only had the responsability and honour to be a defender of the Club Nacional de Football, to feel the enormous joy of being uruguayan champion, of playing the Libertadores - reaching the semi-finals - but also the chance of living two southamerican youth cups and one U-20 WC, to be called-up for the main national team and the pride of winning the Copa America with La Celeste.I want to thank the authorities (the board members), that represent the Club. To thank the managers of the youth teams, that with their work and commitment made a footballer out of me. Thank the First Team managers, that gave me the chance, trusted me, held me, valued my efforts. I want to specially thank each one of the people that with its work allow ours to flourish: medical team, equipiers, cleaners, cooks, security; all of them who took care of me since arrived with 11 years. To thank all my team mates. With them I lived unforgettable moments within the field and day-to-day. To my friends, which whom I had the luck of sharing all the way from youth-teams and reach the first team. And finally, to thank the fans, the best, that always supports and cheers for every goal, every dangerous attack and that's so big that never abbandoned me on my mistakes nor in defeats.I'll always be with you.Sebastián Coates
We are still waiting on Torres letter to us
If Kelly and Johnson are still injured when we play Stoke, maybe we could move Carra to full back and give Seb a game. With Carra at fullback he could talk Seb through the game, and I am sure Sebs height would come in handy.
It'll be a big ask to play him Away at Stoke mate. away anywhere is hard on your debut, and with Stoke having Kenwyn Jones and now Crouch up top, it'll be a real hard slog. Funnily enough, it's probably the one game of the season where we'll miss the Greek bloke.
Unbelievable...Sky Sports have decided to pronounce his name Co-A-Tez..not Coates..FFS
