With Ngog being replaced by Bellamy, our squad just got strengthened. He's no spring chicken, but then he was never bought to play 90 minutes every week. He's a very handy player to have on the bench.

Good bit of business.

Can't wait to see his fighting spirit again, having a go at the ref even if it was a correct decision!   He is so cool in front of goal. Who do you reckon is our fastest player over a shortish distance? Craig must be up there, surely, even if he is an old codger!!  

I used to be fast. Even when I decided to play rugby (for a laugh) at the age of 35, I was the fastest over the first 20' to 30'. Bellers will be ok in that area of things.

Like Paisley or was it Shankly said, the first couple of yards are in the head. And that can make a massive difference.

Has to be an improvement on N'Gog so I'm happy with his return.  He has something to prove as well, and that can only be a good thing for us (got to play him against City.

Got to be an improvement on N'gog who always seemed distracted in front of the onion bag as tho he was ensuring his cock was still in his sock before any attempt on goal.
Got to say tho he did put a few vital goals away when his tackle was in order.

If N'gog had worn a third boot he would have been unstoppable.

He seems very wise from that interview. Love the way he keeps referring to Liverpool as 'we', even when he hasn't been here. 'We haven't finished as highly as we should've in recent years'.

Hardly dancing around the room, but not displeased with this late signing.

The bottom line is, he's a better fourth choice striker than N'Gog.

If, God forbid, we have injuries, or suspensions, I'd feel more confident seeing his name on the teamsheet, that's for sure.
