I was watching the Bolton vs United game and it was eye opening to see attacks so ruthless. You can see why they keep on steamrolling teams. Whiskey nose has instilled a winning mentality into his team and the way they come at you is relentless. They attack with such pace and deadly accuracy it's frightening sometimes.

They  just hammer the ball into spaces and expect their players to get on the end of it -which more often than not they do - one touch is then usually enough to flash the ball into the net. There`s an appetite, a confidence and a deadly certainty about their attacking play, at blinding pace. Very difficult to defend against. In the last third they speed up and go for the jugular, there`s no hesitancy or doubt in their minds -"ruthless" sums it up

It's something we lack, the pace and movement on and off the ball.hopefully in time under Kenny we cam play at siuch a level after all we are a work in progress

When i viewed the Man utd game v Bolton i realise we have a long way to go to match the pace and deadly intent of United. Makes us look like a mid table club quite frankly.Fergie has no favourites and he wont let the players pick his team for him.So wether the huge sums paid out in transfers fee will reap dividents, we will have to wait to 20 games in i suppose.

They did great business in the window though... I mean they get the next England CB in Phil Jones who has played in the PL, we get Coates...

Coates is the best young center back talent in south america reinforced by his copa america exploits. looks a top class talent.  He could prove to be equal if not better than Jones.

And that is why I said we were beaten by the referee mate, had he awarded that we may have a got point out of the game, so the referee beat us in my opinion, we did have our chances to take all three 3 points but that one decision could have turned the game on its head.

Could have missed the penalty.  Could have been saved.  We should never have been in the position in which one decision cost us that game.

I had no problem with Stoke's play. They defended well and made it difficult for us.

I agree that we should not 'depend' on referees to help us get the results but sometimes a referee's decision can really change the outcome of a game.

We should not depend on the ref to give us an unfair advantage by ruling wrongly in our favour, but we should be able to rely on the ref to get the big calls right, that is all we ask.

We shouldn't have to score three goals plus in each game to guarantee a win. But that is the way it is.  We have to get used to it.

Never seen us lose such a one sided game... Clattenburg is just as bad as Webb though, has an agenda against LFC... Terrible Ref
