Brighton 1-2 Liverpool: In-Game and Post Match Hurrah

Could and should have been 4-0 up at half-time, we were not great in the second half, but in control.

Solid win, should have been 2 or 3 up in the first half after a very good performance. We let our guard down and let Brighton attack us in the 2nd, so they probably deserve to score a goal.

Managed to get the last 30 mins on a streem that was like watching a series of still pictures. F***ing crap. And it seems i missed the better footy from us in the first half. Anyway, a win is all that counts now, Brighton done themselves proud and had a few moments even, though we should have put it to bed in the first half. Anyone know when the draw for the next round takes place ? And who do YOU want ?

Good 1st half performance, good win, and great to see our captain back in action!!

It will be interesting to see how we line up at the weekend.  With how well the quartet of Maxi, Bellers, Suarez, and Kuyt did does anyone think Kenny will change it?  Will Carrol feature?  What about Hendo and Adam?  I could see Adam coming on for Spearo, Enrique for Robo, Skrtel for Coates, and Downing for Maxi.  It will be interesting to see how much playing time Carrol receives if our other forwards continue to play as well as they have today though....  Bring on the Wolves!!!

Well in Bellars on MOTM, fully deserved.

We needed a ball carrier towards the latter stages of the game but it was a good result, as some posters mentioned, Brighton are a good side and proved it.

Our players seemed to have ran out of steam 2nd half (a bit like the Sunderland game), but we held on to the victory.

Good to see our players such as, Spearing, Maxi, Bellamy, Coates , Kelly and Robinson get some match fitness and a good workout.

Noone was Brighton's MoTM?  Come on, they weren't that bad...
