Anyone else think we need to stop putting butter on Pepe's gloves...?

Pepe has spilled the ball a bit too much this season.

Too many holding off for our next slip up before posting again mate.

You would like to think this place would be busier when we win a game but sadly doesn't seem to be the case.

Very good first half, still a possession issue as shown in the second half, for some reason, we close down and make some rash tackles when other teams turn up the heat, let them into the box too easily and don't even produce a counter attack from that, although i think most of this is due to hoofing, we become too defensive and not defensive enough at the same time, we leave players standing around in midfield and when we regain possesion, we hoof it right over their heads and squander it

All in all though, good performance

Not a great deal you can say really. I expected us to win ..... and we won. Could have been a lot more goals but I am quite happy that we have got through what could have been (and was at times ) a tricky tie.

Not getting at anyone in particular and definately not you saint but it is always busier with people moaning after a defeat when I prefer to have a chat and debate on the team when we actually win a game as well.

I have just remembered that the last time we were playing Kuyt and Bellamy upfront, we were beating Barca at the Camp Nou and playing in the Champions League Final ... Still a long journey ahead of Kenny and this team ... Hopefully, it will be as interesting as ever ...

The spurs match thread 46 odd pages, most of it troll-filled. This will probably end up half that with general good thoughts and inane ramblings/jokes.

Just the way it is when the trolls invade at the merest sniff of misery.

Huzzah. I mean. Hurrah. Nice to see us taking the cup seriously. Quiet on here isn't it. Guess there are a load of annoyed fans sitting waiting for the next bed result to log back in. Funny how that works.

It just made me wonder if a bush is actually classed as a plant.

As for the sick in the mouth, can that actually be enjoyable if the last thing you ate was your favourite food?

A win is a win i guess, of which i am pleased. Good to see some other players not only getting a run out but also making a case for a start on Saturday. Winning builds confidence no matter what competition it is or opposition its against. Well done lads.

I'll never get it myself, whatever leads them down that road they shouldn't be in an LFC forum. 2010 maybe but 2011 post the owl? Nah.
