It will be an interesting dilemma for him - it’s a step up from Rangers and a chance to show if he can do it in the Prem - don’t think he would dismiss it off hand

Let’s not forget his ambition - this a person that came very close twice to leaving to a rival at the time

Chelsea under Jose were the team to play for at that time if you wanted a PL medal, so I understand the reasons as to why he entertained the offer.. managing Everton or even being offered the job would be dismissed out of hand, have you heard the chants from the Blueshite  towards Stevie & his family & yet you are convinced with certainty that it would put him in a dilemma...?

Just an opinion - and certainly been plenty of players or managers that have crossed barriers that you would never expect in the past.

How Is Everton a step up from Rangers who will be playing in the CL. Looks like Nuno might be in the seat soon. So Stevie might be a tad disappointed but I expect he will get over it.

I'd take the chance of managing on Champions League nights at Celtic Park or Ibrox every day of the week over a mid table Premier League club. Whatever your allegiances, both sides of the Old Firm still have that allure that repays itself on European nights.

Really? I thought the complete opposite. After winning league by a landslide a good Cup run would of done their finances a world of good. Based on last season they can afford losing in the league and still p!ss it since there's only two teams can win it.
