Rangers deserved to win today. Standard of football was very poor from both teams. Still don't think Rangers will win the league.

Stevie's celebration with the football wing of the edl is embarrassing

He's their manager, what the F**k do you want him to do?

Can't celebrate like that in Glasgow there will be F***ing riots.  If he was to be Liverpool manager I'd actually like him to call out racism rather than keep putting on his Suarez shirt.

He can celebrate like that after he wins something otherwise he'll get the pish ripped out of him for slipping up time and time again.

Looks very far off being Liverpool manager.  Hasn't a game plan to break down teams, plays with three DMs at home. Doesn't make subs till the last 10-15 mins.

Better enjoy the riots then cos knowing Stevie there will be a few of them celebrations once he's got his team up and running.

Can't see it happening, but yes, it would be lovely, the best player ever to not win the league  >:(

the best player ever to not win the league

Madness that the likes of Anderson, Wes Brown...Danny Simpson and whoever else have all won it but Gerrard hasn't. Obviously the painful one is the year under BR but that team we had, it was good (well midfield onward, the defence and keeper was a wreck) but in truth it probably wasn't good enough to have been that close to winning it. Where as 08/09, we were a force across the whole of Europe that year with prime Gerrard, Pepe, Xabi, Torres etc, smashing 4 past the likes of Madrid, United and generally looking a force to be reckoned with...only to miss out because Federico Macheda of all players was popping up out of nowhere scoring late winners for the Mancs on the run in. To me, the circumstances of not winning the league was obviously far worse the year Gerrard slipped but the one I find harder to get my head around is 08/09. Very similar to last season, just the 2 defeats but let down by silly draws whilst the Mancs were scraping wins, the biggest difference is that it was the blue half that did it to us last season. Think Gerrard got about 25 goals that season.

08/09 was crazy when you look back at it.

Can never get my head around the fact that a midfield of basically Carrick, Darren Fletcher & a 35 year old Paul Scholes beat prime Gerrard, Mascherano & Alonso to a title

I think Stevie enjoyed playing for Liverpool more than anyone could understand he was the boyhood fan it was his dream. Not winning the league is a shame but the lad enjoyed his time playing at Anfield as much as any player has enjoyed playing for any team. He also won a fair amount of trophies and seeing him in the 2005 CL final play in God knows how many different positions and lift the Trophy was just a memory to keep forever.
Of course I hope he finds his way back home but who in all honesty would want to come in after Jürgen talk about a poison chalice.
I keep watching Ranger scores and although they have had a blip of late I fully expect him to pick up a piece of silverware this season and press on next season to win the league

What silverware is that he'll be sacked before the split. Can't see him staying apparently he's lost the dressing room.

Players started another fight after today's match.

His coaching staff getting bans after beating Celtic and Hibs.

He hasnt any ability to keep a cool head. It's cost him his job

Sorry if you feel offended pal. But the facts remain that Aberdeen gave a closer title fight to Celtic.

If Gerrard thinks setting his team out in the exact same formation with the same 11 nearly every match will win the league that he isn't a very clever manager.

Yes he has brought an improvement to the fitness and tactical discipline that Rangers have... Just like Rodgers did at celtic. But he has spend the most money in the league and brought in over 22 players yet he is constantly cut a drift after the winter break.

His record as win percentage is hardly any better than Murtys? Yet Murty had Rangers in a position to challenge up till the split
