It's very difficult to judge in Scotland but it does seem Stevie is doing a decent job there. As someone said above the Europa form is probably more impressive as once one of Rangers or Celtic get a head of steam up in the league they tend to run away with it.

Celtic having Neil Lennon has helped as I think he's absolutely garbage.

Before he'd coach Liverpool and risk a Lampard situation i prefer he'd manage at a higher level first and further prove himself. No idea what Nuno's plans are at Wolves, but i see a team like that as a great opportunity for Gerrard to go in and show he can develop the team further and make it a top-4 challenger.

I would just like to say well done to Steven Gerrard, for the part he has played in what looks like inevitably, guiding Rangers to winning the Scottish Premiership. Although obviously he is not ready to take on a club the size of Liverpool. His success at Rangers could well lead to bigger and better opportunities for him in the future.

Anyhow all the best to Stevie, wherever he goes. It is nice to have something to be cheerful about, with so much doom and gloom about.

Absolutely made up for him and great to see those videos with the fans.

It'll never replace the pain of not winning the title with us but I hope it goes someway towards softening the blow and hopefully it's just a stepping stone for him to be winning trophies as our manager in a few years time.

Still think it's hard to really judge given the League but still a great start to his managerial career.

Stevie is currently celebrating his teams championship win today,without kicking a ball,to be bothered with all this media sh@t.

Great achievement by Stevie , has been backed and supported all the way, probably more than others would have got. Still has a lot to learn but you can see that he has improved as a manager

He was almost in a no win situation with that job but he’s been able to come out smelling like a rose with this result. I’d wager there will be some Premier League teams wanting him to lead them next season, be interesting to see if he makes the jump for a club that isn’t us or if he will bide his time.

I see it opposite to you.  I think it was pretty much a no lose situation.

Rangers always had the financial strength to be one of the top two in Scotland.

Having said that - terrific achievement for him.  A lot of things have gone in his favour certainly over the last twelve months.  However, some of the European performances have really shown that he does have some very good managerial abilities.
