What do you think we should or need to improve on?

Before the last transfer window, everybody agreed we needed 2 wingers. We signed 1, but all of a sudden it was the "perfect" window, because if you disagreed, you were just a negative b***ard I'm still waiting for another wide player though. Don't have to be a out and out winger, but pace and skill is a necessity. More players getting into the scoresheet would be great too.

This!  I think RLB said a RW was a necessity earlier in the thread, but I would like to see a hybrid winger/forward - someone with pace who can create and finish.  I mentioned in the Transfer Thread that I think Andre Schurrle would be a perfect fit for this position, but there are others who would also be great signings. 

I also think we need to be replacing Carra with an experienced, top class center half.  Vertonghen, Hummels, Cahil, etc would all be great!  This is a position that needs to be addressed in the very near future. 

Other than that, we have a very good team with a lot of talented young players.  We just need to gel as a team and develop a winning mentality and we will be right back at the top of the table

I would agree with the RW. I,ve said this time and time again, with Kelly being now our 1st coice RB IMO and Flanno waiting in the wings, i would deffo push Glen Johnson up to the RW. We,ve all said Johnson is better going forward than he is defending, so why not. Kuyt is not a RW, Suarez should not be played there either unless its in a 4 3 3 formation and Henderson is a CM all day long. I personally think Glen would do well as a RW. With 2 wingers, left and right, our attacking threat would far greater.

Andy Carroll does need to get fit and IMO he should have Gerrard playing just behind him. Suarez is a genius but i think Carroll just cant keep up with his trickery. Suarez is unpredictable to any defender, they just dont know what hes going to do next, with that i dont think Carroll knows what hes going to do next either and thats why i dont think they have clicked and maybe never will. Carroll will know what hes going to get from Gerrard, nice through balls, crosses and balls over the top, what Stevie does best.

1. We need to be more clinical in front of goal.

2. We need to get Andy Carroll fit and firing on all cylinders to relieve some of the burden on Suarez.

3. We need to buy a specialist right winger.

4. Most importantly We need to be patient and allow this team to gel.

Andy Carroll has the potential to become on the best finisher of this League and last season he proved he is already a great striker but he needs good service AND CONFIDENCE.

Downing should not be a first team player. We need another goal creator  and a good DM.
