Okay, I wanted to ask about products from them so I might as well start a thread for them.

Thing is, I bought a hard drive from them last year and I know they have a one year warranty but the hard drive now, I'm afraid, is busted and it's outside the one year warranty.

Is there no way I can get any warranty or i just have to live with the fact it's gone for good?

Doubt it mate. You could contact them and explain the situation. The might offer some kind of good will gesture but, if it's out of warranty, they are not obliged to do anything. But, as I said, sent them an email, you have nothing to lose by doing so. Good luck!

Sent them an email but they can't help me but told me to contact Western Digital straight away.
