Any ideas on places for a pre-match beer?

From what I remember of the stadium there's not much around there?

Never been to the Brit stadium, wondering where the best place is to park, any help Rep?

There is a car park of I think a sports centre right opposite (by the away end) which I parked in before but it is for home supporters only so if you got colours on you wont get in there (think it was a fiver).

If I remember rightly Cas, the away car park was signposted quite well and I presume is not that far away. I just ended up parking in the home one because I was running bit late

Sorry for the delay. Yeah there's a Harvester right next to it and they won't mind you popping in but there's bugger all else around there. The drinks inside the ground aren't insanely priced but obviously they're more than a normal pub. Don't be tempted to cross the footbridge over the A50 to visit the pubs on the other side, they are most definitely NOT 'away friendly'.
So in all honesty, it's a pretty crap location if you want a few drinks beforehand. You're options are to try and get a couple in the Harvester (which will be packed out), bring a few cans with you or have a few in town (Newcastle-under-Lyme) and someone drive to the ground afterwards. I don't suppose that's much use to people like MsG who have to drive home afterwards 

Due to work and a friend pulling out I can no longer go to this game. They are very good seats in row 10. Selling both of them at face value plus booking and recorded delivery. If anyone is intrested in them pm me asap.

They blocked sales on their website due to the number of Liverpool fans trying to book tickets. You can only get them by phone or in person.

Depends when you arrive. Get there early enough and there's plenty of spaces either by the ground or the Powerleague pitches.

Wouldn't surprise me, mate. There's a noticable lack of interest from my friends and colleagues over this one, they aren't particularly interested in a Carling Cup run.
