Sorry to disagree, Guardiola is harvesting the work of many others. Barca juveniles (La Masia) has been producing talents before Pep arrived. I love him as a coach, but credit to the people who deserve it
Bueno is good, and has a lot of potential. Saw him on the u17 wc play against uruguay and he gave us quite a headache

As artaylor said, I was trying to point out how Guardiola must know about young talent better than anyone else as he's seen so much of it at Barca, and he's currently the man responsible for bringing Barca's young players into the first team, as he's done successfully already.

Well, im not really an expert in Barcelona, but I believe Xavi, Iniesta, Puyol and  Messi were there before him. Pique was bought from Manchester, Dani ALves not a house product either, and Busquets is probably his major discovery from Barca B, besides Pedro.

As I said, I love him as a coach, but IMO he is not the youth expert many believe.

Back to topic, any news on Bueno?

Just before we do, Pique WAS a product of the Barca youth. But was sold to Utd for 4 years, then he returned under Guardiola.

Now! I hope this Bueno lad has the potential, it'll save us having to buy a replacement for N'gog.

      He has impressed in Liverpool
Well Marco trains with reservations ( Surely they mean Reserves )

      Editorial THIS

On Saturday August 27, the Mexican striker Marco safe return to Mexican territory after to try his luck in England informed us Mr. Pedro Bueno, father of Sinaloa, who has been in contact with Marco on the Internet.

"We have communicated over the Internet, we have not talked much with him, and told us that he went to train with Liverpool reserves."

Well the boy's father said, "there are good comments, which must decide the managers there, from Liverpool, but heard good reviews, is all I know."

From what little I have been able to talk about father and son, Marco says happy to stay at Liverpool, "feels very comfortable, happy, happy," said Pedro Bueno.

Marco is about to end his European adventure with Liverpool, as the three-week trial with English club is about to end.
He will return for age 18 and possibly return later because according to his agent, Matias Bunge, has made a good impression in England.

"Marco is going well, training was 10 days at the club, started training with the U-17 finished training with the reserves.
Had a game on Tuesday, which tied at one - one, played the second half and scored the tying goal.
The people of Liverpool are happy with him, Marco is happy with them, treatment that gave the institution, "said Argentine striker's agent.

Well, his stay in England, had the opportunity to see matches of Manchester United and Everton, but also shared a meal with Javier Hernandez and his family.  (WTF!)

"Today (yesterday), at noon, ate with Chicharito.
I was very happy because he gave advice.
Chicharito is an icon for all major Mexican player, be able to eat with him and his family in Manchester, it was very pleasing and probably never will be forgotten, "shared Bunge, who explained that FIFA regulations no player who has not attained 18 years can be negotiated.

"We are seeing how to proceed from now on, FIFA regulations, Marco can not be transferred to Europe until he turns 18.
We will surely until the end of the trial period to see if the people of Liverpool makes an official statement, "he said.

Marco was followed by Scot Kenny Dalglish since joining the Reds Academy.
It also had a talk with him: "He has not had direct contact with the players.
Although treated with the coach, who usually goes to see the training of the youth teams, sat down with us to talk.
When he played with the reserves and scored what was looking. "

Bunge is clear that Marco will have to play Pachuca in the Under 20 and perhaps after that shown in England, could return after serving the majority.
"There is an agreement between the two institutions agreed, was the interlocutor between the two along the U-17 world."

Liverpool letter confirms interest in teen striker

Pachuca sports vice president confirms Liverpool interest in Marco Bueno

Andres Fassi Maybe Liverpool will then make an offer, but that would not be until he is 18
Liverpool will have to wait until Marco Bueno's 18th birthday to try and secure the player's signature.

The Mexican striker, dubbed 'the new Chicharito' by Clubcall, emerged as a target for the Reds during the U17 World Championships in his homeland, and after helping his country win the tournament he enjoyed a ten-day trial on Merseyside.

However, the teenager returned home without signing a Liverpool deal, and played his first senior game for Pachuca over the weekend.

Newspaper reports in central America claim Kenny Dalglish remains keen on bringing the teenager to Anfield, but Pachuca sports vice president Andres Fassi insists Liverpool must now wait until March 31st 2012, when the player celebrates his 18th birthday.

"We received a letter last week from Liverpool, who want the player to go there when he turns 18," said Fassi.

"Maybe Liverpool will then make an offer, but that would not be until he is 18 years old, when FIFA's laws allow."

Bueno would join a promising crop of young players at Anfield should he move to Liverpool, with Raheem Sterling, Adam Morgan and Jack Robinson all climbing the ranks at the club.

Bullshit, there are at least 10 ways to avoid that law. TO START WITH, the lad CANT have a contract with pachuca, since underage players cant have formal contracts. The "Patria Potestad" belongs to the parents, so, if his parents move to England...lets say Liverpool...to work, the kid is allowed-forced- to move with them.
      And thats just one way.

It has happened in my country many times with underage players being stolen from local clubs. If the player is willing to go, and the parents play along, hes as good as gone. Wether its ethically correct to do it is something else entirely
