Liverpool 1-1 Manchester Utd: In-Game and Post Match Thoughts

Liverpool edge the match no question about it in my opinion. However, who was the fellow who said it would be 1-1

Distraught! 2 points lost!

We absolutely dominated - and I mean DOMINATED United.

I've never seen them park the bus before, even against Barcelona, but for the majority of the game they were doing just that because our attacks were so fast and intense.

They couldn't handle our pressure while they were on the ball, and we forced them into a LOT of mistakes.

It's such a shame we couldn't hold our lead and capitalise on it. We let them have possession by sitting back on it, and, as usual, that's what made us concede.

Pleased with our display, pleased with the way we bounced back from conceding - even if we didn't capitalise on it.

All in all, I'm disappointed we didn't grab the 3 points but happy with everything else.

On a more positive note, I loved Gerrard's celebration

We played a great match, we should have gotten those 3 points. How F***ing unlucky were we? And F***ing De Donut probably had his best saves ever since he signed for the scums.

Ohhhh so frustrating, I hate draws with the scums, but we were by miles the better team, great played lads.

Suarez man of the match for me. We couldn't control him. He's a great player.

Until 82 minutes or so, a draw was probably fair.

Then for the last ten minutes we battered them completely and when they actually got some attackers on the pitch they were sh*te.

Suarez really should have been more up for that header than Rooney. Hendo should have scored the header, Skrtel should have kept his cool with the volley and Kuyt should have steered his effort into the corner.

Gutted.

Gutted we didn't get the three points as we were the better side but an overall good performance after a quiet second half.

They got the point they came for but we easily could have won it on the end.

Soft defending for the goal, which is a damn shame, but I have no complaints for any player on the pitch today we played like a team and its the first time I have seen the team really gel. We looked a lot better than we did against Everton, and if we keep improving like that game by game we will go places. One of these days all of these chances are going to go in and we are going to batter a team.....perhaps a team like Norwich next week.

Hendo could be our new supersub. The lad deserved a goal there certainly. He had 2-3 chances, right?

Gutted. Hendo did look very good today though I agree

Lucas looked a bit tired to me, tackled well which is good but the passing just wasn't there- to be fair, half the team chipped in with a lackluster pass in that first half.

One genuine question though, why the F**k didn't we get either Bellamy or Carroll in, even after the goal? Could have tried that, everything else wasn't working much.
