You've been accused of rape, you know you didn't do, your accuser knows you didn't do it. After a police investigation there's (naturally enough) no evidence to say you did.
I'll have to believe you that you would be very magnanimous and gallant; sacrificing your reputation so that other women would not fear coming forward when they had been raped but... what if you knew that your accuser had done the same thing before and no-one acted?
The thing is; Evra has done this before and the F.A. know this. They should have acted when he accused the Chelsea ground staff. Then this unsubstantiated, vexatious, complaint would have not been made and he wouldn't have another victim.
