A long feckin day with family over.
Not had much but about to dig into some red wine followed by a bottle of brandy with my brother, and youngest son, while we sit in the man cave and bullshit each other while watching old highlights.

Good luck with that mate - I did it for few months last year till the Dortmund game.

Two best things I've done in ages - 1) stop for an extended period  2) get back on it  ;) >:D

I've tried to hate grapefruit beers, I just can't. I've tried three or four different ones and they were all good and I was drinking IPAs before they were hip. Batham's Best Bitter was one of the best I've ever tried, but I'm not really a bitter drinker, my taste lies in the IPA, Northern Monk Session IPA is a stunner, and the stouts, Yellow Belly Stout byBuxton Brewery is great.

Man, you'd love it in these parts.Apparently New England ipa is considered a style now.I can't even get a can of john smiths! The other a week a buddy got me to try,a lagunitas, sam adams hopscape,a jacks abbey ipl and a brooklyn lager all pretty much tasted the same to me.My local is talking about getting rid of the Newcastle brown tap for a sour?i'll be left with Smithwicks and an occasional Guinness.Beer nerds! :food-smiley-005:

Water has been off since 0800, can hear the construction as they 'rush' to fix it.

Gin & Tonic it is then.

Currently supping on a box of 10 day matured (at least that's when I got them) box of Campo de Bulmerios (otherwise known as Bulmers cider) that I've just remembered were behind my shed as they managed to survive my birthday the other week.

      With ice,  obvs.
