      The second league ticket sale
      Nov 07, 2011 11:32:14 am
Just going through the availability of the remaining nine premier league tickets and it's come as a bit of a shock.

Apart from Stoke, Wigan and West Brom the thirteen game qualification (10/11 season) still applies for the first applications.  What you've attended this season so far is not considered.

If you haven't attended 13 last seson then apart from the Stoke, Wigan and West Brom games which go on sale on 9th November, the remaining will be on sale on 10th November.

The big change is there are no internet sales.  You must ring 0843 170 5555 to buy a ticket.  Talk about going backwards.

      Oh Joy!!!!!!!!!!

      Not true.

Good luck with the fight for the 4500-5000 tickets available.

I really hope I can get a few for the next half of the season, but it's going to be a lot harder than it ever has been before I reckon. Especially when you look at how much they've been pushing it on the official site.

      We need more seats!

Haven't been to Anfield yet this season because of these shitty sales. Not getting my hopes up about these ones. Just a shame I ONLY went to 12 games last season (not including every single shockingly bad Europa League and the Northampton game) so I have to wait for the scraps. The last two seasons I got too used to block 306 for every game I think. Shame. Premier League football is getting hard to put up with.

I miss Roy. He increased ticket availability.

      Not true.

Good luck with the fight for the 4500-5000 tickets available.

The point I'm making is that there is no initial internet sales as there was for the first sale.

Who is going to leave it in the hope there might be some left after the first two sales have been completed.

      Not me that's for sure.

I've just been back in again and now the tickets are available online in the initial sale as well.  When I read it yesterday it did not refer to availability online so I think they have had a few phone calls and have amended it.

      Why am I not surprised!!!!!!!!!!

Interesting to hear this discussion about tickets as I was just discussing it with a friend y'day. I am form N.Ireland based in Edinburgh and a student so it is not practical or affordable to be at Anfield regularly.

I was looking at the possibility of getting tickets for a game, and it seems very difficult to get tickets for the odd game.  Does anybody know the best way for somebody like myself to acquire tickets to a L'pool game?

      Any suggestions appreciated

      Got the first three.

Took an hour to get in though and not many good seats left.

Problem tomorrow as I'm out all day so I don't have big hopes in getting the remaining six.

Out of interest anyone know how many members there are now?

Crazy system which the club has introduced to try and make some quick cash after years and years of living in the dark ages when it comes to commercial side of the game.

As I said yesterday I was out this morning but managed to get on at 12.00.

This late worm got three tickets, Aston Villa, Fuham & Everton.

Arsenal, Chelsea and Spurs already sold out.

Not too bad as I expected to get nothing.

Got tickets for every home game in the second half of the season except the bitters, and I think I can cope without seeing them   Get in !!

Good one Cas, same here but no Fulham for me too.

Well done Kelvo and Cas, made up for you both. Pretty much half a season ticket.

I got the bitters and I forgot ha ha. Oh yeah, Villa, along with WBA and Wigan.

Just got tickets for the same games, see you there.

      It's a date ;)

Ha ha, be nice to socialise with fellow LFC reds, good to meet up with you guys, and women ;)

Stoke, Spurs, Arsenal, Wigan, Fulham, West Brom and Chelsea.

4 in the Kop.  3 in the Lower Anny.  Will do me.

A big amount to dole out when you're not used to saving for the annual season ticket -  but hey - what are credit cards for!

It was on the KOP. I believe ist was 202 and 109

109 is the little block next to the Centenary, the only real restricted view would be down the other end when a corner is being taken from the anny rd/centenary side.

Poor Adryan :(, I got my QPR ticket in the late availability sale, so perhaps, if it's practical enough for you, you might be able to get one or two there.

Assuming Spurs get through, the 2nd round of the Europa league doesn't start until Feb 16th, so this shouldn't affect the fixture.

However game could still get moved (eg to Sunday or Monday evening) if televised, Sky haven't done televised fixtures out that far yet.  This is the weekend that Chelsea play Man U at Stamford Bridge, so my bet would be that they show that game at 4pm on Sunday and  our game at 1.30pm on Sunday - but I am only guessing!

Just had a look at the fixtures that weekend.

Two main ones are us v Spurs and Chelsea v Utd.

I'd be prepared to wager a substantial amount of money that our game will NOT be a Sat 3pm kick off.

EDIT: Worth bearing in mind that of our 9 home games in the first half of the season - only 4 have been Saturday 3pm kick offs.

Is is possible to just give your membership card to another person? There is no identity control at the entrance? cuzz a friend of mine probably can't go with me so I would like to take someone else with his membership card. So that should be no problem at all?

I would have to agree with you on that. 2 of the last 3 times I've been at a game, I've been stuck down there, the view of the Kop half of the pitch is horrendous. The last time, I was praying we would be playing into the Kop in the first half, so the view wouldn't be as bad in the second half. Fortunately, that's what happened, and all our goals in our win that day were scored there.

As regards the ticket distribution, life would be so much easier for everyone if the club hooked up with the likes of Seatwave or ViaGogo to sell tickets. The phone method is stone age by comparison.
