Anyone watching 'Time' Sunday night BBC1
A Jimmy McGovern prison drama, great cast with Stephen Graham, Sean Bean and Sue Johnston in it, first one was last Sunday, highly recommend it.

Finished it in two sittings Cas.

Powerful stuff and the acting from Sean Bean and Stephen Graham was as excellent as always.

Jimmy McGovern always leaves you thinking after one of his series.

Yes 3 very good enjoyed it Sean Bean portraying a character not really used to playing and pulls it off brilliantly backed by Steven Graham

Stephen Graham is one of my favourite actors, been brilliant in everything he's ever done.
Knew it would be hard hitting with Jimmy McGovern behind it, pulls no punches, looking forward to the next two episodes.

Yeah you normally see Sean Bean in a gritty role, so to see him speaking softly is unusual, just shows what an excellent actor he is.

I liked it. There were some clunky moments in the third episode, but it was a very realistic depiction of prison life. The punishment is not so much the denial of freedom, but to be locked in with psycopaths and lunatics willing at any moment to commit extreme violence. As the programmes also demonstrated, at least half the people locked up shouldn't be there, but in mental care institutions. Heart breaking stuff.

Time was superb. Sean Bean and Stephen Graham at the top of their game.

Started Mare of Easttown the other night as well. Really good start.

I enjoyed it until the end but would agree it starts much better than it ends. Think even at its worst it can be addictive tv though!

Sounds like Bloodlines. First season of that was fantastic....about midway through the second season it started heading downhill and I really hated how it ended the last (3rd) season.

First Season of Bloodline is one of the finest seasons of TV in recent times.

They should have left it as a standalone limited series.

Late to this one but just finished Season 1 of Gomorrah. Wow!! I can see this being up there with the nest over ever seen.

I loved that season so much that I honestly hardly watch anymore crime dramas at this point because they hardly ever measure up to Bloodlines in pulling you in.
