5 episodes into Ozark and I'd really recommend it so far. Like a cross between Breaking Bad and Fargo.

Just finished watching the documentary 'The Vietnam War' by ken burns ( BBC 4 ) totally absorbing ,emotional, revealing & fascinating.
Some amazing footage & vintage photographs along with interviews.
It was mindblowing seeing what the president was saying to the public compared to what he was actually saying behind closed doors.
This doc was the cut 10hr version but the 18hr version is available from Amazon U.S which contains more of the above & interviews from actual vets who have not spoke out before.
I can't recommend this documentary enough.

Just worked my way through the This is England 86, 88 & 90 spin offs again. If there is a harder hitting, grittier more emotionally draining British series I've yet to see it. Love this series but it gets me right in the gut and it's hard to watch without shedding a few tears. Classic Shane Meadows.

Just started “The Tunnel - Vengeance”.

Really enjoyed the first 2 series.

“Tin Star” still the best thing I’ve seen all year.

I was going to watch that next now that I've finished watching Breaking Bad. Wow what a series that was, especially the first season which was so original and I also enjoyed the drama of the last few episodes, brought the whole thing to a nice, if dramatic conclusion :-)

Just dipped ties into “The Tunnel” RK BUT “Tin Star” was brilliant - Tim Roth performance was towering.

Amazing how many people miss what can be pretty biting satire in the show, so I'm wondering if that's why they made it more obvious, about Brexit.

They certainly didn't pull any punches, and I think it's one of the most underrated comedies ever.

Coping the the annual christmas madhouse became a bit easier after watching (and recording) that.
I have a feeling I'll be watching again a couple of times over the next couple of weeks

Yeah - there's something depressingly funny about how debased and consuming this Brexit agenda is in this country that a comedy as far out as The League Of Gentlemen and which seemed long gone is now as contemporary as anything and more capable of satirising it than anything else! Definitely a case of the UK moving closer to the world of Royston Vasey rather than the other way around! Then again, The League was always a bit ahead of it's time!

Definitely something that will reward repeated viewings and a rewatch of series 1,2 and 3. Might even go back to watch League of Gentlemen Apocalypse which, from having last seen years ago, didn't seem as bad as some made it out to be (even if it's a bit messy). Undoubtedly one of the best comedies I've ever seen.

Done that a while back. Like you say a tough watch at times but well worth it.

That dinner table scene in 90 is as hard hitting as they come.
