found an absolute Gem on BBC I player."two doors down" Its like a mix of Rab C Nesbitt, The Royle Family and Modern family.
Some of the Cast from Rabb C and drop the dead Donkey etc.
Put it this way with all the sh*t going on this is the perfect antidote to just sit back and laugh till your side hurts.

Watching After Hitler on yesterday. WW2 is something I find incredibly interesting with my Dad giving 6 years of his young life to in the Army 39-45.
Its not meant to be a sympathetic piece on the German people but by God they paid a heavy price for the Years Hitler ran the Country.
12 million German speaking people were cast out of Communist Europe back to Germany many along the Routes the Jews had been forced to take to their terrible demise. Then with the Country split in two the East Germans paid the heaviest price of all Germans.
When we look at our pampered existence it is hard for us to understand or comprehend how these people throughout all of Europe survived and rebuilt their homes their communities and families...but they did. I tend to think they were actually better people than we are and I am talking about the ordinary people not the Politicians they were sh*t then and are still sh*t now.

Watching Luther on Netflix. Saw it all a good few years ago but want to refresh my memory before watching the new series that came out this year.

Idris Elba really is cool as you like!

Didn't see it first time round, on BBC I think?

Might give it a go, I've heard only good things about it.

Yeah BBC mate. The series are all very short, I think series one was 6 episodes but one of the series was only 2. Really brilliant, will start the 5th season soon and see how that is.

True Detective Series 3 much better than the deservedly so panned series 2.

      Mahershalla Ali is excellent.

Watched the first 3 episodes of series one last night.

I enjoyed it, but it seemed a bit "hammy" for want of a better word.

It's really good not quite at the level of season 1 but not far off.

On C4 now Three Perfect Strangers.
1961 an adoption agency in the US was conducting experiments on what influence Nature or Nurture has on a childs upbringing.
fast forward 19 years and a guy stops another guy and say you look like my friend Eddie . He then finds out he was adopted and born on the same day as his friend and yes they were twins and it made headlines all over the US it was pure chance they got to meet.
Someone else saw the newspaper and straightaway recognised their friend in their faces but he wasn't one of the twins he was the triplet.
They had been separated at birth and put into there different social categories Working class, middle Class and Professional a Doctors home. They were then studies over many years to assess their development What is sick is the Scientist had spent time as a Jewish man in the Concentration camps but thought it was OK to experiment with live subjects.

It is Fascinating and very sad in equal measures for the lads and any other Twins involved. The findings were never published

Agree. Some critics said that its too violent. But I enjoyed every bit of the 1st season.

Also last few weeks have been glued to the British Drama Crime series. They have been so excellent so far. Line of Duty, Bodyguard, Happy Valley and now in 3rd season of Broadchurch. Only gripe is that they have 6-8 episodes per season and don't renew every year.

Well, it's a 15 I think, and DC is supposed to be dark, so F**k the critics ;)
