So, last season of Game of Thrones was so F***ing sh*t.

Thankfully I found a much better series to watch over the last couple of weeks, just finished all the 4 seasons of it - Black Sails, which mixes real life characters (pirates such as Jack Rackham, Charles Vane, Blackbeard, etc) with fictional characters such as Captain Flint, Long John Silver and Billy Bones from Robert Louis Stevenson's Treasure Island. It's beautifully shot, with great dialogue and unending action. It's right up my alley - absolutely loved it.

Loved the first 3 series mate. Some of the stuff they do and when it comes out of nowhere you’re going ‘ohhhhhh shittttttt!!!’. I end up thinking about it for ages after I finish watching :D

Did the 2nd episode a few nights ago, going to try watch the 3rd tonight, it’s shaping up nicely!

Agree with everything you say about that series, but I just couldn't get on with it.

The Jinx 'the life and deaths of Robert Durst'

I absolutely loved this series/documentary and is definitely worth watching if you haven't seen it.

Watched The Boys from Amazon Prime about a group of vigilantes who fight corrupt super heroes. Karl Urban is F***ing superb and pretty much uses the word c**t the way I do and Antony Starr is boss as the b***ard version of Superman/Captain America. Yeah it's pretty graphic, so not one for the kids.

After eight weeks of being force fed Love Island I'm looking forward to watching some proper telly.

      On the list:

      Gomorrah - season 4

When They See Us - all four episodes

Billions - never seen an episode so want to give it a go.

Animal Kingdom - I enjoyed it but didn't finish season 1 so I'm going to have to refresh and get back on it

Vikings - another one I need to refresh on and start again from season 3.

I need to add that my girlfriend and Celebs go Dating, which started last night, are my direct threats to all of those happening.

It is what it is, though....

Very much enjoying this at the moment. Definitely not one for the kids but I like the subversive take on the tired superhero genre.

When They See Us was both harrowing and rage inducing.
A brilliant documentary, but upsetting to say the least.

Apart from the accents, which are a bit all over the place, it's fantastic.

The accents drove me F***ing barmy when I first started watching it, but I just filter them out now and enjoy the show.
