Been watching the UK one and can safely say this show now needs to end. What a load of crap. Not one good singer, the show is all about the judges egos and the commercial breaks are ridiculous, there's one like every 5 minutes.

Craig is alrite, little bland though, he also hasn't done better than his first live performance, which is disappointing.
Marcus is the one I see winning, because he has 'the whole package' but will release one song and we will never see him again, just in the papers a year later saying how Xfactor ruined his life xD
I guess the Girl Band is okay too, especially when girl groups are not really successful on this show.

I think the biggest mistake they made was putting that Frankie through to the live shows instead of Joe Cox, he was really good and different.

Amelia Lilly will win it I reckon, for all Marcus is from Liverpool, he's a one trick pony that performs songs and in a style the genertaion that watch and vote on X-Factor will not identify with, he'll get to the finals, but he won't win.

I don't really watch the show and not even sure who is left in.

An entertainment show and NOT a music show which was all too evident last night when I was watching Children In Need.

Ed Sheeran who has broke through without this type of show was shoved on just before a change over back to BBC 1 and the JLS got prime slot just as the show restarted. Also almost every music act was from a 'talent' show with One Direction on twice, Susan Boyle murdering one of my favourite songs Enjoy The Silence and Matt Cardle on later.

It may be what the general public want as far as music goes but not my cup of tea at all.

Sorry for the mini rant :D

She has the exact same chance as any one else mate, its a talent contest.

They are searching for a pop star that will sell records and have a shelf life, Amellia Lily and Misha B are the two stand out performers for that.

Technically she should be there mate, she should never have been voted off, it was a joke to make each judge vote an act off in their first week, when some of the sh*te Louis walsh picked were still in a talented singer was sat at home.

From the ones left, I would actually like to see Little Mix win, just wish they wouldnt have picked that awful name when they had to change it.
All the others are meh and as much as I hate him, I agreed with Gary Barlow on Amelia, she just shouted her way through that sing off, although Craig did himself no favours doing the same old stuff he always does.

The only three I think who have a chance of winning now are Little Mix, Marcus and Janet, basically because I don't think they have been in the bottom two yet.

Winning X-Factor means zilch, it's talent that counts.

It started with Pop Idol, remember that.

      So here we go

      2001/02
      Winner

      Will Young
      Loser
      Gareth Gates

      2003
      Winner

      Michelle McManus
      Loser
      Mark Rhodes

      2004
      Winner

      Steve Brookstein
      Loser
      G4 (band)

      2005
      Winner

      Shayne Ward
      Loser
      Andy Abraham

      2006
      Winner

      Leona Lewis
      Loser
      Ray Quinn

      2007
      Winner

      Leon Jackson
      Loser
      Rhydian

      2008
      Winner
      Alexandra Burke

      Loser
      JLS

      2009
      Winner

      Joe McElderry
      Loser
      Olly Murs

      2010
      Winner

      Matt Cardle
      Loser
      Rebecca Ferguson
      3rd
      One Direction

Now sorry for the crapness of the above list, but the "artists" in bold/red are the only ones in my opinion who have done anything.

Winning means nothing. I've put One Direction, as they have a song I have heard of.

Seriously if the music and teh style that Marcus has been singing in on X-factor is a reflection on the direction he'll take as an Artist, will any one buy any of that sh*te ?

If he wins it scouser or no scouser the whole shows a F***ing farce.

Louie has already been told he will be in the next series, he is pretty much best buddies with Simon.
For me the two worst judges are Gary "Im.not.reading.from.a.sc ript" Barlow and Kelly "OMG YOU PUT IT DOWN" Rowland.
Tulisia who I thought I would hate has actualy been the best judge this series, she has been honest and actually try to help acts, even if no her own, apart from that Misha B bully thing xD

But my £10 bet on Little Mix to win at 6/1 is looking good :D They are now 4/11 lool

Never would have happened on Dermot's watch.

      Comedy gold though.

Former X Factor star Kerry McGregor dies of cancer

Former X Factor contestant Kerry McGregor has died after a battle with bladder cancer.

The 37-year-old from West Lothian appeared on the third series of the show in 2006.

A spokesman said: "It is with deep sadness we announce that Kerry passed away at home, earlier today, following a battle with cancer."

During The X Factor she was mentored by Sharon Osborne in the series that was won by Leona Lewis.

Kerry went out in the third week of the live finals.

She performed in a wheelchair as a result of an accident when she was 13.

She had worked with several charities including Leonard Cheshire Disability and Action for Bladder Cancer.

Colin Bunce, Chair of Action for Bladder Cancer said: "She was a truly inspirational person and we were delighted when, before Christmas, she accepted our invitation to become an Ambassador for Action on Bladder Cancer".

Kerry's spokesman said the singer was rehearsing and recording until as recently as last month and was due to perform a duet with Susan Boyle this year.
