The players they have I would have expected any formation to be a difficult one for us to play against.  About 8 of their players have exceptionally good control of the football, it sticks like velcro to their feet.

Without wanting to sound like a pedantic tw*t, you can't continually talk about 4-4-2 being a terrible formation, and playing Adam in a pair being a terrible decision, when you use the following argument against Crouchinho in the Johnson thread:

City will have a lot of possession today, we have to use it well when we do have it. I think Enrique and Johnson are essiential today both going forward and defensively.

 Richards and Kolarov bomb forward leaving massive gaps which Barry who is not the quickest will have to plug. We have to press City and keep a high tempo as long as possible.

 I think we can beat City if we keep it tight and play on the counter. Outlined my concerns already though about the midfield area

Kenny just stated he took the decision out of Bellamy's hands for today as he could see he was clearly very upset.

City are defo suspect if you hit them quickly on the counter as Napoli showed, Nasri and Silva will put in little defensive work and with Kolarov and Richards attacking intentions it will defo leave them vunerable on the flanks.
