Did you see his reaction when Kelly scored? Priceless! Hahah the one where he was waving his arms at his teammates.

I think Bellamy has got better with age as a few years ago he would not have passed to Maxi he would have gone on and had a shot himself. He looks mega fit and with Downing lacking "confidence" he must get a run of games.
Having said that look how well Kenny is using the squad with Maxi scoring nearly everytime he plays.

How come I can't watch the replay of the match on LFCtv?

It says something about broadcast restrictions preventing them to show the match until today at 22:00 pm but it also says the game will be shown on Wednesday at 0:00 (which was 11 hours ago), 10:00 am, which is now, 14:00 and 22:00.

So means they won't show the first 3 times?

Does anyone else get a bit sad (my anger has subsided a bit now) when they see Torres in a Chelsea shirt? It still looks completely wrong and I really wish he had the sense to stay and see what Kenny had in store for him at LFC.
Fair enough mate but he's done F**k all in that sh*te shirt and it would have been the same situation had he still been at Anfield, nah he can give it that all day anywhere else and the £50m was well spent.

Got to applaud the ref for giving the handball penalty, a very brave decision and the replay showed it to be 100% correct - wasn't the best pen by Andy and he'll be well down the list in future no doubt

Great result, I watched the highlights and am loooking forward to watching the full 90 when i get back from work. We're in the semi's and suddenly Wembley is on the horizon for the first time in a long time!

The difficulty at the moment is picking a MOM.

I went last night and apart from our support being absolutley fantastic, out shouting the famous Chelsea fans completely. The performance was outstanding. Carroll, Bellamy, Lucas, Kelly, Enrique were top class. Bellamy just edges the MOM for me as everytime he had the ball he used it to hurt them, they put 2 men on him everytime he went forward which created space for Jose, those two down the left were superb.

Lucas - what more can you say of him, he was immense. He is first player on the team sheet now.
I love the Lucas song btw, first time I have heard it.....

That Romeu lad looks like a decent player too, he was the only person in the Chelsea midfield actually trying to play.

Would like to say how pleased I am with Carroll's performance. Alright the penalty he hit wasn't the best, but he put himself about well, dropped deep to give support and his overall physical expression when he was playing made him look like he was really putting a shift in, especially when he ran to the ref to show the penalty was a penalty, fought like a dog to get the ball to take the penalty and celebrated with the two goals.

Keep it up Andy, you'll come good soon!

What a b***ard that would be, let's hope it isn't that serious.

Always rated the lad and could see the potential in him - he's a workaholic and doesn't give up.

Where have you been?, come on!! It's an unwritten rule that the scum get the best draw possible, and their rivals get shafted

Thus they get the longest possible time to prepare for that mega team, Palace, i.e. 96 hours, and we get 48 hours.

      so now you know. ;D

      Exactly RP.

      I was playing dumb.
Of course they get the breaks. Just wanted to know as a 5 star scum hater if there was some genuine defendable reason they got 96 hrs against our 48.

I was stating the bleeding obvious. Are the staff of the FA putting money on them?

That just would'nt be cricket  ;D ... would it.

I hate to say "I told you so" in these sort of circumstances, but I certainly did.  It is incredibly hard on a players body to compete in two demanding games inside 48 hours, and I was very worried about Lucas (along with Enrique and Hendo) being able to come through the match unscathed.  Personally, I would rather have lost to the Chavs and had Lucas fit for the rest of the season than to win last night and lose him as I believe that his absence could result in us dropping vital points in the race for the top 4 this season.....

It's not like his injury was due to wear and tear. It looks to be a freak one from a normal tackle. Don't think fatigue was a factor in the slightest. If he had pulled his hamstring or groin or something, then that's a different story.

When you are fatigued and your muscles are tired it puts more pressure/stress on the ligaments that link muscles to muscles and muscles to bone.  I'm not saying that it would not have happened had he been 100% fresh, but we should not have been risking such an important player, and that was my stance the entire time leading up to the game.
