I think with Lucas being absent we will go with 3 in midfield.

                                        Reina

      Johnson         Skrtel            Agger           Enrique

                     Spearing       Henderson      Adam

                          Suarez  Carroll   Downing/Maxi

Should have more than enough for Fulham, and while I can't see a performance or result as good as last time, I think we will win 3-1

i like this, good, positive side. only contentious starter there is caroll for me, i'd have to say bellamy's earned his starting line up again. but i wouldn't be too unhappy taking a chance to try and get caroll his confidence-inducing goal.

bellamy or caroll, we need more support for suarez. we have the joint best defensive record in league but 9th best attacking record (17 goals, compared to City's 43, Scum's 30 and Tottenham'/Arsenal's 26 and Chav's 28). we've scored as many as blackburn for god sake...time for change.

There are no easy teams anymore in the Premiership; Okay, maybe Chelsea.

      A must-win.

      Jay Spearing to replace Lucas.

If Fulham come out, play some football and try to win the game, we will win

If they play 11 men behind the ball as I expect they will, who knows

      For me it would be:

                     Pepe
      Johno  Srktel  Agger  Enrique
              Spearo   Adam
        Maxi      Suarez     Downing
                      Kuyt

Bench:  Doni, Kelly, Carra, Hendo, Shelvey, Bellamy, Carrol

Adam will have to hold his position better and sit deeper now that he doesn't have Lucas to cover for him.  Still expecting a comfortable win in this one.  3-0 to the Red Men!!!  YNWA

Really feel for Lucas, has been our most consistant players this season. When a player like him goes out of the team that is when you realise how good he is and how much we miss him. Hes not a flare player but what he does is probably better than anyone else in the team, he does the simple things really really well and we will miss that really high standard of simple midfield play. But hes gone and has now given the oppertunity for someone else to come in and get a run in the team. I hope its going to be Spearing as when we have seen him this year he looks good and a long run in the team is probably what he now needs to progress to the next level. But saying that my team for Fulham which we have to go out and win is.

I'm off to this with my lad and can't wait. Very rarely go to Liverpool games these days, so hopefully it'll be a cracking performance again. I think we'll win a tight game 1-0.

Yep I'd play him as well. Sometimes with a player you kind of take to em for no reason and really really want them to do well. For some reason Carroll has got me a bit like that. I'd luv it if he really came good soonish.

I wouldn't start Carroll mon play a similar system to what beat them last season.  Good movement and quick passing sadly Carroll doesn't fit into that type of football

      MATCH FACTS

      Head-to-head

Liverpool beat Fulham 5-2 at Craven Cottage in this fixture last season, Maxi Rodriguez scoring his second hat-trick in three games.
Fulham have failed to score in six of their last eight Premier League games against Liverpool.
In 20 Premier League games between the two clubs (going back to 2001), Fulham have won just three.
Liverpool beat Fulham 10-0 in a League Cup second-round match at Anfield in 1986.

      Fulham

Fulham have won just one of their last eight Premier League games at Craven Cottage (W1 D4 L3), a run which started with that 2-5 defeat by Liverpool in May.
This is Fulham's joint-worst record, in terms of points gained, after 13 games. Their 12 to date ranks alongside their total in 2005-2006 and 2007-2008.
Headers account for just 7% of Fulham's goals. That is the lowest percentage in the Premier League.

      Liverpool

Liverpool are unbeaten in 11 matches in all competitions.

They have allowed their opponents fewer shots on target against them than any other team in the Premier League (44).

Uruguayan striker Luis Suarez averages 8.2 touches per game inside the opposition penalty area, more than any other top-flight player.

Truly the form of Champions.  ;D

Mixed emotions will accompany Liverpool on their annual trip to the Thames. The squad will reflect fondly on how they beat the hosts 5-2 in this fixture last season with a breathless and, at times, awesome, attacking display, but there will also be sadness at the recent loss of Lucas Leiva to a season-ending knee injury. The Brazil midfielder has become an integral part of Kenny Dalglish's side and without him they may struggle significantly.
