Ireland to get second in the group ahead of Italy for me. I wish both Ireland and England well. Shame Scotland couldn't be there.

I have sympathy for them as a country, but not for the way they're currently playing football, so not rooting for them. Croatia and Spain are just  too strong for them, they'd be lucky to get a draw against teams like those after an abysmal game filled with missed chances from the opposition. Italy could be beatable in their current state.

The Ireland team trained in Poland for the 1st time today and 15 thousand people came to the stadium to watch. A training session. Not a match the vast majority were local Polish people from Gidyna.

Nice to see the locals are supporting the tournament. I think it's like that everywhere. Netherlands first open training tomorrow is sold out, 25000 tickets. They're visiting Auschwitz after that.

What are the odds on neither England or ROI winning a game ?
A big well done to Alan Hansen for tipping Holland, Germany and Portugal to reach the semi's even though they're all in the same group !

Just thought I'd post this website I use for finding out exactly when and where I can watch footy in the UK, I use it all season and it saves searching to try and find kick off times, channels etc, bookmark it because it comes in handy. ;)

      Only the UK I'm afraid.

The Netherlands team had their first open training last night, sold 25000 tickets for it. Mostly Polish people. Apparently also Wisla supporters among them, who felt the need to make monkey noises every time a not white Dutch player got the ball. Idiots. And that after they had just been to Auschwitz that morning. That makes them even more idiots doesn't it, knowing that history. Hard to understand.

Most of the Polish ultras are tw*ts. Water cannons were out after about 30 mins when Lithuania was playing against Poland.

      No sweepstakes on here then...
      Pity would have been interesting.

      Pretty open this year.

      Spain
      Holland
      France
      Germany

Would like to see Germany do well.
A Spain win would be historic, but I'd like to see someone else win this tournament.

Could try organise a sweep stake? Or is it too late?

I really don't think Spain will win. Germans and Dutch are the favourites for me.

Hard to understand indeed mate, the nazi supreme race bollocks bundled the Poles in the undesirables package with the Jews and a good many met the same fate, the same mentallity seems to prevail in the Ukraine and they as well subscribe to the same obscene mantra  - they as well were persecuted by the nazi's.
The vast majority of the shitheads in question are younger people who unlike their elders have no connection whatever with a history of persecution, there are some of their number in roles of authority which is why those bas**rds attacking Asian people at games in the Ukraine were allowed to continue unabaited.
Really wants sorting out and they should be fu**ed off from the EU, the Euro's and whatever else they can be fu**ed off from.
