I don't want to moan, but we scored a goal. The ref incorectly ruled it out. Then he gave us a red card, which shouldn't have been a red IMO.

No offence lad but that kinda does sound like moaning.  We got beat, how that happened is irrelevant.  Back to the drawing board.

To make matters worse, all the other teams ahead of us bar Newcastle won.

Worst for me was the disallowed goal for offside, it was clear he wasn't, and was covered by their defender sitting too deep.

I'm fairly sure Hangeland's right leg PLAYED Suarez onside regardless if his body was in front of Suarez.

Not the rule at all. And I don't need to be told about the rules.

Obviously you do - careless, reckless or dangerous play where in the opinion of the ref, the player is not in control of the challenge.

Played ok, didn't deserve to lose at all though. Defense was sh*te throughout the game.

Goal disallowed, Spearing wrongly sent off. Wtf is happening?! >:(

To be honest, I know the red card masks it a bit but that was a really poor performance.

We were cut open far too much, had some chances yes but not enough drive from the midfield to keep up any concentrated pressure.

I was hoping for 26 outta the next 10games which are classed as relatively easy games... Id now rather they were difficult top teams to play!

Why oh why do we struggle against dirt teams and add to that make them look good!

      Hopelessly gutted after that!

Do our guys need their eyes checked? Feels like we miss judge every header.

Yeah, Carrol especially always seems about 3 yards away from the ball

Thought we were so unlucky tonight ,hitting the post ,creating chances ,dominating the play for most of the game , then Spearing gets red carded for a decent honest challenge ! bitterly disappointed to come away with nothing from this game but i couldn't fault our commitment or skill ,gutted for Pepe  !

Obviously you do - careless, reckless or dangerous play where in the opinion of the ref, the player is not in control of the challenge.

He wasn't careless, he wasn't reckless and it was hardly dangerous.

He won the ball, you can't full stop when in a tackle. At worst, if it was dangerous it was a yellow. I would of been mad, but not furious if that was the case.

It was a horrible decision on the refs part. Absolutely shocking.

Poor reffing, but in the end only Liverpool to blame, to many avarage players, and Carroll, what can you say, 35 millon for an avarage player, we just don't take our chances. A draw would have been a fair result. But the table don't lie 14 games one of the best defences records and a goal difference of +4

1-0 to the referee. Suarez's goal was onside, and Spearing's red should never in a million years have been given.

The standard of refereeing in the Premier League has been poor for a long time.

      A few things

It was a sending off. Going by the letter of the law it was. 20 years ago we'd have clapped that tackle, but in this day and age, it's a sending off. Two footed, in the air, and no control.

Finishing. We had some really good chances throughout, and we didn't make them pay. We can call the ref all the names we can think of, but that was only a small percentage of what went wrong for us today. The main portion was our lack of finishing.

We actually didn't play that bad, but whereas Man Ure and Citeh will play poorly, have one shot and win 1-0, we are a still being very wasteful in the final third.

      Massively missed Lucas tonight.
