Where's queuepolitely got to? He was a little 'skeptical' on page 1 of this thread and others concerning the new owners.

Bloody hell, people really were shitting themselves on Page 1!

 I am just glad that we were able to get rid of Twit and tw*t and get good responsible owners to run the club.The consequences would have been trajic if Fenway had not come along,so Martin Broughton I presume must of had something to do with overseeing the project.
                                                               Seeing as M.B. was a Chelsea man is it possible that his reward was us selling Torres to Chelsea.

I donated a fiver to his Movember page and thanked him for his work selling the club.

Considering he received over 40 grand in donations I was somewhat surprised to receive a personal thank you email this morning from the man himself via his ipad...

I thank Martin Broughton for the work he did in bringing the reign of H & G to an end, along with others. But....    I seem to remember that Nesv and John Henry, were introduced to the possible sale of the club, and the dire financial straights we were in, by a Liverpool fan who worked in  J.H.'s office under his employ.
The initial introduction to the situation had nothing to do with M.B. "Finding a buyer".  Still think he done a decent job on the whole though.
