I'm excited to see Jonjo starting today. Played pretty well at Blackpool and has bags of confidence (almost too much!). I don't think there can be too many gripes about the lineup. I would have liked to see Carroll start today, but hopefully he gets about 25-30 minutes.

Very surprised that Shelvey is playing, sadly I honestly don't believe he is good enough (yet) apart from that I think we are more than strong enough to beat (what looks on paper) a weak Villa side.

Not surprised to see Bellamy.  Villa defence has a problem with pace. If it is a 4-4-2 surprised Shelvey is in there ahead of Kuyt or Maxi

I'm not too surprised by that. Kenny was just praising him a few days ago, and he is playing against his old team. Hopefully that's motivation for a good game. Hopefully.

Haha It's only Guzan's second Premier League start. He was good here in America playing in MLS  , but he hasn't really developed all that much since coming to England.
