Andy's seriously F***ing me off. I smoke between 10-20 a day, drank 4 beers during the game and I swear to god i would move more than him on the pitch. Hes just so lathargic with everything he does and expects to get everythign on a plate, that delivery, that through ball, he doesnt do anything for the team, well didnt today.

      0/10 for effort.

      Great result.

      0-2 flattered Villa.

3 points within 3rd - nicely placed with Wigan, Blackburn and Newcastle coming up.

We should have scored a shed load today and upped the GD. Still points in bag after a functional performance and yet again a little back luck I'll take. ;D

Good Win. They controlled the tempo and pace, got good scoring chances and It was a great game.   I think this team has a few minor issues and the injuries are really keeping us from a solid title contending squad.

I see it the same way, he touched the ball like three times during those 13 minutes

Another 3-points, proud of the team. If we can get a quality defensive midfielder, striker and right wing, we'll be very very difficult to beat., I know it's a big ask. I'm extremely proud of our defense, we don't give them enough praises.

A bit disjointed towards the end, but good win.

Hope we carry on this on to the next game and beat Wigan on Wednesday.

Shelvey played well, got into good positions and was composed. Would love to see him in midfield.

      MOTM Bellamy or Johnson.

tbh all our players sat back and when we got the ball instead of counter attacking, we were passing it backwards. It wasnt much AC could do imo. thought we did well overall and got the 3 points we deserved.

We got the points, so I'm happy. But there's still a lot of work to do.

Still need to work on finishing. I thought we were lucky to be playing Villa because Adam and Hendo were poor in defense. Downing is a mess of inconsistency. He seems to lack confidence right now. He was at his best when aggressive early, but he got the stupid bug late I think.

But there were a ton of positives too. Bellamy is wonderful (when he's not barking at the ref), Suarez was silent for a long time but his performance towards the end was full of gorgeous play. The entire backline was stout as always, Glen Johnson stood out for me.  Shelvey looks like he can be a contributor, though as I've said, he needs to work on composure when shooting.

I was disappointed in the support for Carroll when he came on. He had nothing to work with.

I thought Downing had a good 1st half, switched off in the 2nd though. Bellamy keeps surprising me, I didn't expect him to be such an important player this season. Suarez as usual of vital importance to us, even when he doesn't score. Johnson was simply brilliant today, I wish he had scored from that long range shot. And Shelvey... hugely impressed with him too. He has the confidence of a 30-year old, great ability and vision too. Weak points today were Adam and Hendo I think, not that they were awful or anything, just not too good. Did ok but I wish Adam would play the "hollywood pass" more often, we don't need two boring sideway passing midfielders

Not a great performance today, but thankfully Villa were so poor we didn't need to be at our best. Thought Shelvey had a good game and could have had a couple of goals if he had received the pass rather than players taking the shot themselves.

I would take this every week, 3 points, a clean sheet and never worried in the slightest about a Villa comeback.

      Onwards and upwards we go.

Three points, that's what it's all about in the end. We could have scored ten but two will do, kept a clean sheet and the away support was F***ing brilliant again.

All we need now is for Arsenal to beat City and it's back on.

Kenny and the boys should be proud. Great performance and continued to look for the third throughout (well until 70 mins). Bellamy my MOTM with Skrtel + Luis following up.
