What a team. Would of had Bellers ahead of Downing but Downing can get into his shooting boots.

Downing better start serving up some christmas cheer, to be ahead of Bellamy is quite astounding. 

Great to see Gerrard on the bench. Big game needed from Carroll has to show he is capable of playing pass and move football

Good to see Carroll starting, hopefully can knock one in and get  the confidence flowing again. If he is up for it and shows over 90 minutes the desire and hunger like he showed in the Wigan game, I'm sure he can have a good game.

Great to have Stevie back in the squad too.

Didn't expect that team really, only Kuyt was dropped from the Wigan match which is a bit surprising.

Big game for a lot of starters there, with the January window and the return of Gerrard around the corner it's a good chance to try and nail a starting place.

Great to see the skipper back on the bench, would love him to get twenty minutes or so.

Interesting to see Shelvey on the bench ahead of Spearing.

Pedersen is again the make-shift LB for Blackburn, in fairness to Downing he has o tear him a new one. I'm not expecting a goal or assist from him, but at least give him problems that can result in chances created for him.

Where is spearing? I thought his suspension was over?

Bench looking very good, but the Midfield looks a little weak for me. But I guess that is the best we have due to injuries.
