RIP Gary Ablett

I remember Ablett playing for us - he eventually turned in to the scapegoat of the day.  We often criticise modern support, but even back then I remember people groaning and screaming every time he touched the ball.

However, he eventually went to Everton and did a good job for them before returning to Liverpool as part of the youth set up.

RIP.

Thoughts with his family and friends.  He'd been ill for a while and at least now the pain he must have been suffering is over.

Terrible news, hadnt heard anything for a while so was hoping that he was on the road to recovery.

Very sad news.

To be expected but thought I'd pop it in here.

The team are wearing Black ArmBands tonight as a mark of respect to Gary Ablett
