Liverpool are the latest to show interest in £10m Birmingham winger Redmond

Liverpool are interested in Birmingham City winger Nathan Redmond.

The £10million-rated 17-year-old has two years left on his contract but has attracted strong attention from Manchester City.

Dalglish, who with Manchester City is interested in Birmingham City's 17-year-old midfielder Nathan Redmond, said Friday's FA Cup third-round tie at home to Oldham Athletic offers welcome respite after a troubled week for the club. The Liverpool manager said: "To get back on the pitch after the week we've had on and off it is the best thing we can do. It'll be a great time too for our people to show support for one another – for the players to show their gratitude towards the fans for the support they've given us recently, and also vice versa."

Lets face it Man city are going to get the lad or get first refusal atleast ....We are there scouts

Not necessarily....a chance at first team football would mean everything to a lad of that age!

If he goes to city he will never get an opportunity only has to look at Adam Johnson. If we matched city pretty sure he would come here

Watched him once in  the Europa League and he looked brilliant. Has great potential I think.

I think he would come here over City too, if you look how we're developing youth and introducing them to the first team against the obvious lack of it at City there's no question where I'd go. We'd offer a similar package and if he is only thinking about money at 17 then he needs his head testing.

Worth a bump just to say this lad looks immense! Would love him here.
