obviously Spain have proven themselves to be the best side there but Uruguay are no chums and obviously the Dutch were whiskers away. I'd love to see Germany or Brazil win the Euro.

Spain are class but I think Germany will cause them serious problems probably even dethrone them

Don't underestimate the emerging superpower that is Fiji.

American Samoa have recovered amazingly since their 31-0 loss to Australia. Expect to see them up the rankings and competing amongst the best very soon.

So sad, Malaysia would have been one of the best teams in the world if I played for them.

To be fair to them not even our defence could stop the great Archie Thompson from going on a goalscoring rampage.

That's a given. If they had Archie, they'd rocket to where they want be in world football.

a few of the lads often try come up with various XI's like world XI, PL XI, champions league winners...etc but the last day we decided to try come up with a team of the last 20 years, but no two players can ever have played with each other at club level. Only two players I would ever consider from that team in my dream team - Wilshere and Gerrard. The rest have shown such sub standard quality on the world stage it is unreal. I mean can anyone recall a time where Wayne Rooney amazed the continent or the world? I can recall one time at Euro 2004 but that was years ago.

Have to give Van Persie credit, he's the best striker in the league right now. Not judging on his whole career, but right now, definitely. Add Messi and Ronaldo to that, doesn't leave room for Suarez right now unfortunately.

Spains form at the moment is not as good. They have been struggling in their latest matches, and even got really abused by the Argies, Mexico, even Honduras I think!

Right now, id say Germany is the best national team. Barcelona at club level (they bore me at times, with their f**king absolute dominance, TBH)

But i know Brazil will win the next WC, im sure!. (unless they  have to play us at some stage  )
